Eclipse circled around in the air above as the three dragons talked. The red Solarwing didn't obviously appear threatening, but that didn't exactly mean anything. He could very easily be using his calm demeanor to lure them in. Eclipse knew how dangerous the ends of Solarwings wing fans were, and their scales as well. Sure, Sunspot was a Solarwing too, which evened the odds a little, but she was nearly half his size. Neoma, while a fierce fighter, wasn't exactly coordinated or trained. And even though Eclipse had been an assassin for years, she was much smaller and more wiry than the red dragon. Even if they could take him combined, it wouldn't be a clean fight.
The Solarwing swooped downward and angled toward one of the dunes below. Neoma and Sunspot slowly began to follow. While the other Lunarwing looked more anxious than anything, Sunspot was tense. Eclipse would have expected her to be somewhat happy, or at least less aggressive, to see another member of her tribe. Eclipse knew she probably would. But Lunarwings were rare. They were dying off, unlike the Solarwings who had enough of a tribe to actually have a royal bloodline. Sunspot didn't know what it was like to have to worry about being the last of her kind--why would she worry about possibly rubbing another Solarwing the wrong way?
Eclipse began to slowly spiral downward, watching the three dragons on the sand carefully.

Helios watched the lunarwing warily, glancing from one dragon to another, angling himself so they wouldn’t surround him.



King tried to fight the nervous feeling crawling up his spine, like a cold talon sliding across his feathers. “Would they hate me if they knew our plans? Why would they? The humans deserve to be put in their place. We’re giving them a chance at least.” He thought, glancing back at the two of them. @-Kiwi-

“You asked who I was, Did you not? You’re a Solarwing…are there more of you?” He asked, and the only response was a snarl. “I am simply intrigued by you and your companions. Lunarwings?” He stated, glancing behind her toward the two fast approaching silver dragons.

"Great eyes, old man," snarked Sunspot.

Neoma reached them, just enough to hear the last part. She hovered just beside and above Sunspot. She didn't say anything right away, simply assessing the dragon in front of them. He was large and could easily overpower one of them, but not two. Definitely not three, as Eclipse was approaching as well. Neoma then spoke up.
"Yes, Lunarwings. Can we help you?" She kept a friendly tone, but held a fixed gaze at the Solarwing. She wasn't looking for another fight, but she wouldn't back down if one began. "Actually," she continued, "Why don't we speak on the ground so no one is tiring themselves?" She looked down at Sunspot, hoping she'd comply. Maybe if they got on the ground and could rest their wings for a second, Sunspot would settle her feathers a little.... literally.

Sunspot saw that the others were assessing the situation as well, and she gave one last snarl before darting to the dunes, getting there before anyone else.

Helios looked from the lunarwing, to the ground and back to the lunarwing. “Trap? Maybe they’re better at fighting on the ground? Let’s hope not. 56 years of training and fighting shouldn’t let me down when I need it most.” He thought.
Helios slowly looped around and landed on the nearest dune.

Phoenix watched King curiously, poking her head past Corvus' tense shape to peer at the tall blue dragon. Corvus looked curious, but still all prickly and defensive, Phoenix noted. She bumped her tail against his, letting it rest there.

Age: Still an egg. Will be a hatchling soon!
Tribe: Lunarwing with faint Nightwing ancestry.
Physical appearance: A mostly normal Lunarwing dragonet, but with black scales down the neck instead of silver and a few patches of black scales, like paint splattered onto his scales. For instance, around the base of his two largest horns and on the end of his tail. One random patch of black scales on his left front talon shaped like an oval. Green eyes.
A few odd scars and his left ear is slightly misshapen due to Kings talons crushing the egg when he snatched it from the compound.
Personality: (will be) A bubbly, bouncy ball of joy. Loves biting older dragons tails and playing hide & seek with the other hatchlings. Loves King a lot, but will bond with a mother figure, most likely chickadee or someone like that. Or Neoma if/when she finds him.
Backstory: (Optional) Not known yet! All he remembers is the sounds of machinery and humans, a feeling of being pressed in on and jostled around before he hatched. This has caused some amount of claustrophobia.

I can't wait to have my character(s) interact with Knight. Speaking of which, how are we gonna get our Scorpion Den group, our desert group, and our Grebes Nest group, all together? Not to mention the still unused Hawkmoth, wherever he is.

i'm not sure yet. eliza and i talk abt every day, so we talk abt this rp a lot; i know alyssia will be pretty easy for us to run into bc of her now riding out into the desert on a motorbike. the ones in the SD will probably be met when we actually raid or do whatever, that's my guess *MAJOR SHRUG MOMENT*
the desert group is traveling towards the coast if i remember correctly, so that will help with the trajectory as others say where they're heading.... but correct me if i'm getting mixed up for the fiftieth time LOL

Well the Grebes nest is near the mountain range around Jade Mountain (Josh correct me if I'm wrong please lol) which is on the Sky Kingdom/Sand Kingdom border, so the desert group is headed the opposite way. But I think you're right, we can pick up Shrike, Sol, Kapok, and the "Drax"-character we still need, when we sneak into the SD
