The compound where Phoenix and Corvus were was the old city of possibility. So yes we’re in the close by mountain range, just more in the middle of the map.
I have plans being made for King by Osprey that have something to do with most human city’s, especially the SD lol

Helios looked from the lunarwing, to the ground and back to the lunarwing. “Trap? Maybe they’re better at fighting on the ground? Let’s hope not. 56 years of training and fighting shouldn’t let me down when I need it most.” He thought.
Helios slowly looped around and landed on the nearest dune.
Eclipse circled around in the air above as the three dragons talked. The red Solarwing didn't obviously appear threatening, but that didn't exactly mean anything. He could very easily be using his calm demeanor to lure them in. Eclipse knew how dangerous the ends of Solarwings wing fans were, and their scales as well. Sure, Sunspot was a Solarwing too, which evened the odds a little, but she was nearly half his size. Neoma, while a fierce fighter, wasn't exactly coordinated or trained. And even though Eclipse had been an assassin for years, she was much smaller and more wiry than the red dragon. Even if they could take him combined, it wouldn't be a clean fight.
The Solarwing swooped downward and angled toward one of the dunes below. Neoma and Sunspot slowly began to follow. While the other Lunarwing looked more anxious than anything, Sunspot was tense. Eclipse would have expected her to be somewhat happy, or at least less aggressive, to see another member of her tribe. Eclipse knew she probably would. But Lunarwings were rare. They were dying off, unlike the Solarwings who had enough of a tribe to actually have a royal bloodline. Sunspot didn't know what it was like to have to worry about being the last of her kind--why would she worry about possibly rubbing another Solarwing the wrong way?
Eclipse began to slowly spiral downward, watching the three dragons on the sand carefully.
Neoma landed softly, looking around her. She saw the other Solarwing settle into a defensive stance. She marked it in her mind; he wasn't looking for a fight. Glancing at Sunspot, she could see her visible tension. Neoma shuffled closer slightly, muttering, "Calm down a little. It's not gonna hurt anything to take a deep breath alright? If anything, you'd be able to assess the situation better." Neoma hoped Sunspot would take her advice, but she couldn't be sure; she wasn't looking at Sunspot to see.
She kept her eyes on the large dragon in front of them. Stepping forward slightly, she bowed her head as a sign of friendly respect.
"Can we help you with anything? If there's no trouble, perhaps we should get going before anything... um... ensues." Neoma said politely, looking at Sunspot and Eclipse out of the corner of her eyes. She made eye contact with Eclipse, hoping the other Lunarwing would understand what she was getting at: Be ready to hold Sunspot back or to try and get us out of here.
Neoma brought out her warping and formed it into her favorite blade form, sticking it in the sand in front of her as a reminder.

"Great eyes, old man," snarked Sunspot.

Sunspot saw that the others were assessing the situation as well, and she gave one last snarl before darting to the dunes, getting there before anyone else.

Sunspot looked up at Eclipse, who circled around above. What is she doing??

Phoenix watched King curiously, poking her head past Corvus' tense shape to peer at the tall blue dragon. Corvus looked curious, but still all prickly and defensive, Phoenix noted. She bumped her tail against his, letting it rest there.
Helios glared at her, releasing a low growl. “You clearly do not know who you speak to with such disgust. Are you not aware I am the mate of Queen (whatever her name is, should I just give the queen a name?), stand down, rebel.” He said, eyeing Sunspot. “I mean you no harm. I am on my way to the Scorpion Den. My son is trapped and if he’s still alive I intend to free him.” He said, his voice booming and his scales pulsing with red light. “Now who are you? I only wish to know because you….you seem to be a true Solarwing. One of few.” He said, his voice calming at the very end, as if he hoped it would calm her as well.

Eclipse caught Neoma's eye as she slowly swirled down to the sand, like a stalking vulture. An inquiring look. Eclipse guessed it was something along the lines of, be ready. Although, whether that meant "be ready to intervene" or "be ready to fight" she wasn't completely sure. But, nonetheless, she angled her wings slightly, circling tighter and lower. She cocked her head in the direction of the trio, listening intently to the conversation. She couldn't help a cocky grin from spreading across her face as the large Solarwing gave his booming speech. Nice, she thought. Not only did Sunspot tick off another Solarwing, but she went and mouthed off to the King of her tribe. Eclipse watched Sunpot expectantly, hoping for at least the slightest shocked or even embarrassed reaction. Though she didn't expect much of that from the sassy little Solarwing.

Sunspot snapped her mouth shut, her crest flaring up in shock. She quickly regained her composure, the only tell of her surprise being the very tip of her tail twitching in the sand.

“King?” She said, flicking her wings back. “Literally never heard of you, but okay. You don’t want to go to the Scorpion Den Mister King Regalface Sir, it’s a death trap in there. I think your son might be a lost cause.” She wasn’t about to let some fancy royal push her around. Sunspot was her own queen.

Sunspot's sassiness makes me laugh XD

Phoenix watched King curiously, poking her head past Corvus' tense shape to peer at the tall blue dragon. Corvus looked curious, but still all prickly and defensive, Phoenix noted. She bumped her tail against his, letting it rest there.
King caught this movement and a part of him deep down inside scolded himself for even trying. Corvus obviously had feelings for her. So, what did he feel? What was this spark inside him trying to say? “You barely know her, you’ve only spoken to her twice and you shouldn’t be thinking about her.” He told himself, trying to bury whatever that feeling was.
“I can catch us all a few salmon before we get back to the Nest if you want? Im pretty good at it actually.” He said, turning and opening his wings to take off.

Helios grunted, this Solarwing obviously had been raised by the rebels who fled the Kingdom all those years ago. “I know that it’s a death trap, why else do you think I’m trying to get my son out of there?! He’s all I have left and I can’t lose him.” He shouted, his wing tips fanning out instinctively and glinting in the bright desert sun. He quickly folded them back in, shocked by the volume of his own voice. “Who are you? Tell me and I will be on my way to the “death trap” and won’t bother you again. And why are two blazing lunarwings with you?” He asked, looking from the one with a recent bruise on her head and the one in the sky.

Neoma glanced between the two. This was clearly a Solarwing dispute and she didn't want to get between it, but something in her bristled at the way he spoke of the Lunarwings.
"Don't bring us into this, you're the one who's so bad at hiding he literally got himself discovered by three dragons going the other way! For a such an old King, you seem to have little experience staying undercover." She said irritably. She turned around and stalked away, flicking sand at the two as she did so.
Neoma sat herself down on the ground a few feet away, glaring at them.
