Also, where do your dragon tribes live?

That's where I kind of need some brainstorming. I think, due to the pressure from humans, the monarchy government system has mostly gone out the window and dragons have split into smaller groups and communities. Territories are still loosely there, but you wont be nuked if, say, you were a SeaWing flying over the Sky Kingdom. Dragon society is still there, but it's more of a melting pot, with more hybrids, looser rules, and generally different from how it is canonically. In my head, SandWings have mostly split up into "gangs" spread across the desert, usually led by one leader that controls a certain area. CloudWings still have a very strong government presence, and they tend to be aloof of other tribes, ESPECIALLY if said other dragons are trespassing.
So, with that being said...

In past designs, CloudWings have the ability to solidify and manipulate water vapor, aka clouds, into livable structures. So, in my brain world, CloudWings lived in the clouds, right? Because "Cloud"Wings. But, my nerd brain said "hey, how would that work, thats not super realistic, what about prisoners that aren't CloudWings and such? A dillema. If you guys have a better idea, let me know but we can keep this one too.

SolarWings usually either keep to themselves, or live in hunting pairs or trios that tend to be two mates, or siblings. They're a nomadic species, never sticking to one area for long. So they could live anywhere they like, technically. Also, another thing I forgot to mention about SolarWings is they have three or four razor sharp "blades" on the tips of their wings, that are made from a stiffer, yet still flexible material. I'll draw a diagram in a sec.

RiverWings will literally occupy any large body of water, they aren't picky. Technically they *could* live in the ocean if they wanted, it wont hurt them, just.... ick SeaWings.

We'll say that NightWings have been mostly forced out of their homes by human pressure, either being captured or living in small typically nomadic groups.

Nobody is sure if LunarWings even exist, let alone where they live.

Packs of SnowWings occupy the mountain range splitting Pyrrhia in half, as well as the Ice Kingdom tundra. They live in huge weaving underground dens, and they are excellent diggers. I need to draw a ref for them too just I haven't solidified a design I like yet.

Thinking this might complicate things...

I think we should pick locations for a few big human cities, and roadways and such. Basically "modernize" the current map, so our beloved characters actually know what they are doing.

Honestly if anyone has a suggestion, I’m open; atm when the rp starts, im thinking that Neoma has been living alone for several years, ever since Milza killed Kyler and left with Darltrax. I was thinking Neoma lived somewhere at the edge of a forest with rly tall trees! I’m thinking on Pantala because she doesn’t know a whole lot about the other dragons (Sea, Rain, Night, etc.) other than that they “threw her kind out” a long time ago. Honestly I’m excited for Neoma to be discovered by someone or meet someone, I have a feeling it will really affect her character in some ways!
Also am I the only person who literally doesn’t know what will happen with their character and has next to no plan? I love letting my character live unexpectedly from one moment to the next!! Anyone else? Sometimes even I get surprised by what my character does

ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING. The CloudWings already have a queen, and she's a whole tyrant. She has a weird thing for "purity" and at the beginning of her reign kicked out or killed any CloudWings without pure white feathers. This will affect your CloudWing characters. Basically, Queen Cirrus is racist lol

CloudWings are social dragons that tend to form "flocks."

Cirrus's dragons are fiercely loyal to her and will attack "unacceptable" dragons on sight, wether that be CloudWing or any other tribe. There is a certain amount of tension between SolarWings and CloudWings, and SolarWings and LunarWings. SolarWings know that LunarWings really do exist, and aren't happy about it.

I keep thinking, "wouldn't it be SO COOL if someone pieced together the entire story, finding the tidbits I have everywhere"

lol yeah. Also, the Ice Kingdom can still be mostly intact since it's like practically Antarctica and no sane human wants it, but of course, it's a lot smaller. I like the idea of having a lot of hybrids around, they are like really cool dragons lol.

Gender: Female
Age: 21
Tribe: SolarWings
Physical appearance: Gold/copper scales, with bright magenta accents on her extremeties (wingtips, along the back, edge of crests) she has black blotches resembling sunspots scattered across her scales and brightly glowing wing and crest veins.
Personality: Sunspot has a fierce and fiery personality, like most SolarWings. She has a temper, but overall she's a kind dragon. She can be wildly impulsive at times, and is very spontaneous.
Backstory: (Optional)

Sunspot is a loner that soars the Sand Kingdom area, hunting and occasionally running off gangs of rogue SandWings. She keeps to herself for the most part, and none of her connections tend to last long. She is coveted by dragon hunters and is thus always on the run, moving from place to place. She's had a couple of close calls, but her wily attitude and quick mind have never failed her. Having powerful firebreath helps too. She sometimes gives the Scorpion Den a flyby, and she says its because she likes teasing the humans that live there, but its partially because she knows what happens there and part of her wants to help. Or fly down there and torch the place. Sunspot is a very skilled flier, practicing in sandstone canyons. Complete with epic flames.
