Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Tobias leaned heavily against the cage, stooping to throw the rest of the LunarWing's breakfast into her cage.
"He fought in the arena." Tobias answered, knowing context would be useless to the dragon. "He fought so that I could buy you at the auction."
He tottered, closing his eyes for a moment, then realizing whose cage he was leaning against.
"We'll talk later." Tobias said, pushing himself off the cage and making his way towards Sol. "Give me an hour or two. I'll cook us some real breakfast."
The man entered Sol's cage, resuming his position beside the dragon, placing his hat over his head.
"Wake me up if there's an emergency." He mumbled.

(We can skiiip ahead?)
(I'll rp Eclipse a little and then yeah we can fast forward)

Eclipse stayed where she was on the metal floor of the cage and watched the human wander exhausted back toward the Solarwing, too shocked to respond. Sol had fought in the arena last night? So the human could buy her? I don't belong to any human. What kind of sick place is this? she thought, curling her snout up in disgust. I am not an object that you can just buy. And with what--money you earned because your other dragon barely survived a fight with his life?
She hesitated a long moment. Had the human put Sol in the arena to buy her? Or... was it Sol's decision? She remembered his promise the day before, the flame that burned in his eyes. She knew he had been determined in the moment to get her out. But was he really that determined? What sort of desperate straights would drive a dragon to do something like that, especially for someone he just met? And it hadn't gotten her out anyway, she was still in a cage, still couldn't use her warping, was separated from the only dragons she somewhat knew here, and didn't have a clue what was going on. To make matters worse, Sol wasn't even physically stable enough to answer any of those questions, and she figured it would be a while until he was. His human too, seemed unstable, albeit, mentally not physically. Maybe he was at least decent enough to offer her answers, if anything at all.
Eclipse had just opened her mouth to mention these thoughts when she realized he was already asleep. She sighed and turned away from the other dragons, laying down in the cage with her back to them. Her food was too hard to eat now anyway. She figured by the time she woke up, she would be able to. Without the band over her snout, her headache was already ebbing and she realized how poorly rested she really was. The buzzing that vibrated over her neck wasn't exactly comfortable, but the sensation was almost lulling however distracting it still was.
Sol said he could get me out of here. But somehow, I feel like I am only getting pulled deeper and deeper into the Scorpion Den, not out. She tucked her snout under her wing with another sigh.
Why do I feel like I'm somehow farther away from freedom than when I was first brought here?

Bro i'm just sitting here with byc open on my laptop constantly refreshing the page for notifications bc I'm not sure if there's anything I can do with Blackout or Neoma atm, so I'm literally just stalking the page rn :lau
Alyssia and Whitestar both asked Blackout a question, just waiting on his response rn

Listening intently to the conversation, Alyssia tried to understand everything they were saying. She caught him talking about a smaller dragon. The other lunarwing. she thought, happy that she was able to put it together. She saw the nightwing look at her, their eyes meeting. She saw him grin and realized she was still wearing hers. The grin was a side effect of what her mind was spinning subconsciously. Her plan. She caught the nightwing saying something about an idea, experience, and in heads. The dragon chuckled and continued looking at her. He seemed to be talking to Whitestar about her. Do I really look that funny to them? She brushed it aside and looked the nightwing squarely in the eyes, her sea blue gaze piercing. She raised an eyebrow and the grin returned. "So, you from Scorpion Den?"
Whitestar noticed a bit of a growth in the Nightwing's confidence, and he was somewhat relieved that the dragon could actually speak outside of the overly informative rambling. He seemed decent for a dragon raised in such a harsh place, and Whitestar was pleased to see the young dragon was willing to help recuse others. Even though they were all different tribes and none of them were exactly the same, they were all dragons. Blackout seemed to understand that as much as Whitestar did. The Nightwing also had a vague idea of where Eclipse and the other Lunarwing might be and Alyssia too seemed to be getting an idea of the place. He wished it were easier for her to communicate with them.
Maybe I could just ench-
Whitestar stopped himself. No, not here. Not around others. Emergencies only. He waited for Alyssia to ask Blackout her question before chiming in. "You were there for a while--do you understand any English?"

(I'm skipping ahead 3 hours.)

Tobias woke with a start, his ringtone echoing through the lot. He sat up, glancing at Sol, who was still sleeping, and quickly answered the phone. After a quick conversation regarding the LunarWing, the call ended, and Tobias stretched, slowly standing.
"Okay." He glanced around at the dragons. "Who wants steak?"

Breakfast was served a quarter to twelve, Tobias having cooked enough food to feed himself and four dragons. He let Shrike and Kapok pick their choice, then let Dred out of his cage, carefully offering the MudWing the meat.
Next was the LunarWing. He slowly walked up to her cage, smiling gently.

Eclipse was only half listening to the commotion, wondering if she could fall back asleep despite the constant chattering and movement. Does that Cloudwing ever shut up? She thought crankily with a loud huff. She didn't hear Sol among the activity. The Leafwing, despite never saying a thing, treaded surprisingly heavily around. The Cloudwing--Shrike, as she had overheard--couldn't seem to go 5 minutes without making some snarky comment. The human chatted quietly to all the dragons and the Mudwing was mostly silent through it all. She allowed herself to sink deep into her thoughts in an attempt to ignore them all, and it was somewhat pleasant to not be directly disturbed for once in this place. At least she wasn't being moved out of here yet.
The sound of a cage door creaking open pulled her out of her thoughts, and she lifted her head, turning to look over her shoulder at the rest of the lot. The human was letting the Mudwing out of his cage and then paced slowly toward her, smiling, which seemed somewhat suspicious to Eclipse. She had eaten the chunk of meat from earlier a few hours before and was shocked at the fact she felt she could probably eat more. But from her time in the Den, she'd learned quickly that food was more of a luxury, and if it was available, it was wiser to accept it. She watched the scavenger through slitted eyes, the tip of her tail twitching as he approached. But otherwise, she didn't move from her position.

Dred walked out of his cage with a yawn and did a massive stretch, his back and shoulders cracking loudly. “Finally, my bones can’t handle being cramped up much longer.” He stated in his oddly deep voice. He stretched his wings next and then his neck, looking around the room. “Is Sol alright, He looks….not so great.” He asked in between bites of the food he’d picked up.
