Guuurrrrlllll.... FIRST TIM? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? That is so freaking amazing.

Listening intently to the conversation, Alyssia tried to understand everything they were saying. She caught him talking about a smaller dragon. The other lunarwing. she thought, happy that she was able to put it together. She saw the nightwing look at her, their eyes meeting. She saw him grin and realized she was still wearing hers. The grin was a side effect of what her mind was spinning subconsciously. Her plan. She caught the nightwing saying something about an idea, experience, and in heads. The dragon chuckled and continued looking at her. He seemed to be talking to Whitestar about her. Do I really look that funny to them? She brushed it aside and looked the nightwing squarely in the eyes, her sea blue gaze piercing. She raised an eyebrow and the grin returned. "So, you from Scorpion Den?"
Whitestar noticed a bit of a growth in the Nightwing's confidence, and he was somewhat relieved that the dragon could actually speak outside of the overly informative rambling. He seemed decent for a dragon raised in such a harsh place, and Whitestar was pleased to see the young dragon was willing to help recuse others. Even though they were all different tribes and none of them were exactly the same, they were all dragons. Blackout seemed to understand that as much as Whitestar did. The Nightwing also had a vague idea of where Eclipse and the other Lunarwing might be and Alyssia too seemed to be getting an idea of the place. He wished it were easier for her to communicate with them.
Maybe I could just ench-
Whitestar stopped himself. No, not here. Not around others. Emergencies only. He waited for Alyssia to ask Blackout her question before chiming in. "You were there for a while--do you understand any English?"
Blackout blinked. The little human was speaking directly to him now.
"Yes I am." He spoke slowly and clearly. He wanted to be sure she would understand him.
He flicked an ear and shifted to face both of them at once as Whitestar spoke.
"You were there for a while--do you understand any English?" Whitestar asked, and Blackout bared his teeth in an embarrassed grin.
"Well... not very well." He said, shrugging. "I was there all my life. I'm 21, but after all those years, I picked up only a bit. I know some of the things, but honestly, my speaking in English is like how Alyssia speaks in Dragonese... No offense." He finished, turning to her and winking with a friendly look, just in case she understood what he said.
Suddenly, there was a rustling in the leaves around them. With no wind and a seemingly empty clearing aside from the three of them, Blackout automatically tensed up and looked around.
A face materialized out of thin air two inches away from his snout. It was upside down and colorful, and grinning happily.
"Boo!"
Blackout scrambled backward with a loud snarl, staring in shock at the Rainwing that had just revealed himself hanging from a low branch.
"Wha- I- huh?!" Blackout muttered.
The Rainwing laughed merrily. "Hahahaha look how startled he is, Apple!!" He yelled over his shoulder. A light shimmer appeared nearby, and a thin, pretty Rainwing stepped out from behind a thick tree, her scales flashing faint jade-green at the edges... slight annoyance, Blackout remembered faintly.
"Bamboo, you idiot- get down." The other Rainwing said gently, a sparkle of amusement glinting in her white-ish eyes.
Blackout glanced over at Whitestar and Alyssia, a questioning look in his own eyes.
"How did you know I was hanging upside down again?" Bamboo whined, dropping to the ground with a loud oof.
"
You clumsy stump, I may be blind but I'm not stupid. I know you a little too well." The Rainwing responded liltingly, and approached the three dumbfounded listeners, her nose outstretched and nostrils flaring to take in the scents. "I apologize for my brother, he's a few fireflies short of a full jar." She said, nodding over her shoulder in his direction.
The male Rainwing stuck his tongue out at her, then trotted over. "I'm Bamboo, that's my blind sister Apple- OW!" He yelped, as her tail whacked him not so gently on the shoulder.
"Thanks for the introduction, I love how you described me soooo eloquently." Apple shook her head.
Blackout was in shock still. "Uh- I- well.... Hello...?" He said helplessly. He stared at the two of them, unsure how the plans they had been making had turned into a meet and greet with two strangers.

Thank you all 😭 😭 ngl I wasn't sure how it would turn out, I'm sooooo glad y'all liked itttttt!!! I kinda traced the lines of a rainwing's shape to get an idea, but changed some proportions and stuff. I was just hoping it would work, and I literally can't tell y'all how glad I am y'all like it!!!!!!!

Helios watched the Seawing with fascination. “Must’ve been a royal guard or something, perhaps an advisor. Very respectful of titles apparently.” He noted and gave him a thankful nod.
An auction, that didn’t sound good. He turned to the others. “Neoma! Sunspot!” He shouted, getting their attention. Apparently he didn’t need a muzzle, the anti-fire shot was doing its job. “Where is Eclipse? How long have I been out for?!”
Thank the sun I have no one to see and nowhere to be, thought Sunspot sarcastically. She rested her head on the cold metal bars, looking out at the scene through half closed eyes. No long lost sons, no mysterious dragons to meet… even Neoma seems a little attached to Eclipse. I’m the perfect candidate for this death pit.

Speaking of Eclipse, Sunspot had no clue where she was. Possibly dead. The silver dragon had been hauled away roughly and hadn’t returned.

Humans occasionally scurried through. At one point Neoma lunged at them. Kudos to her.

Helios seemed deeply distressed.

Sunspot sighed, wishing to be anywhere but here.
Neoma jumped slightly as Helios called out to her and Sunspot. Sunspot didn't seem to be in any mood to respond, and Neoma wished she could... but she motioned to the muzzle, signalling she couldn't.
Then, she had an idea. She tapped on the bars, emitting a sharp pinging sound. She tapped out two, then stopped and waved her claws in the air, imitating a sun moving across the sky. She hoped he would get that she was saying two days.
As for telling him where Eclipse was, she shrugged.
She covered her eyes with her talons, hoping he would get that she didn't see where Eclipse went.
She looked away from Helios, back towards the others around them. Specifically the Seawing. She kept wondering how long he had been from water... A water dragon could go insane, kept from his natural element for long.
And an insane dragon would not help any escape plans.

Whitestar jumped to his feet, the spikes along his spine standing up again as the two dragons appeared. He had already felt the ice mounting into his throat, ready for an attack when he realized that the dragons were just a couple of passing Rainwings. He let out his breath slowly, cold steam curling from his mouth as the ice in his throat broke up. He watched the two dragons carefully, trying to force his bristling spies to lay flat again. He knew that though Rainwings were among the more peaceful dragons, they were also some of the deadliest when provoked. These two, at the moment, didn't even seem energetic let alone violent. But you could never be too careful.
He looked them over slowly. Even though their patterns were different, they looked almost exactly the same, and the bits of their scales that didn't shift shared the same color theme. They were very noticeably related. Whitestar glanced at Apple's milky white eyes with a pang of sympathy. He couldn't even imagine what it must be like to live in a world without light, and he shuddered at the thought.
Blackout looked literally dumbfounded and Whitestar couldn't help but be amused by his nervous stuttering.
"Hello, Apple, Bamboo," Whitestar started politely nodding to each of them. "Can we help you? Is there a reason you... dropped in."
He kept a defensive position, unsure of the Rainwing's intentions, though they seemed well-mannered, Whitestar knew full well that things weren't always what they seemed. He still wasn't sure if he even trusted Blackout yet, seeing as the X-Nightwing hunter just dropped in, apparently straight from a battle. And now that Whitestar paid more attention, the Nightwing was bigger than him and seven years older. He undoubtedly had more fighting experience than Whitestar and even more training. He was raised to be a killer, and it wasn't easy to just pull that sort of lifestyle out and start fresh. Alyssia was probably the most trustworthy, but even she could be just a lure for the hunters. They had both come from the same battle and though they claimed to have not been in union with the Nightwing hunters, they both came from the same battle alive and free, a battle which, as far as Whitstar knew, had been a losing round for the others.
He felt somewhat overwhelmed by the constant flow of possible scenarios on top of the already looming thought that he still needed to find a way to get Eclipse out of the Scorpion Den. He glanced at the sky distractedly as Apple and Bamboo replied to his earlier question. He wondered if it would be better to leave for the Scorpion Den now and find a way to sneak in tonight or come up with a plan involving all these new dragons-ehr-and... human, that they would have to wait off on. He didn't know how much time he had, or if Eclipse was even still alive at all. The most he could do--at least, within reasonable parameters--was hope.
