Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Helios turned off his firescales, this Seawing was absolutely insane with a death wish if it thought it could plow through a burning Solarwing twice his size.
ā€œCrest!ā€ He yelled, but there was no reaction, just emotionless eyes staring back at him. ā€œSoldier listen to me-ā€ he tried, but instead had to dodge a swipe of crests talons. He’s going to kill himself like this… He realized, the sickening thought making his stomach turn. How could humans be so ignorant of sentient life? Dragons shouldn’t be treated like this, not ever.
Helios knew the crowds wanted blood and death, but they weren’t going to get anymore of it. He circled Crest slowly, backing him into a corner, watching and waiting. He kept his neck open, hoping that crest would take the chance to strike. And finally, it happened, as soon as the Seawing raised his head to go in for another kill shot he spun around and hit him in the side of the head with his tail, HARD.
Crest looked dazed and unstable, ready to blackout any minute.
Crest continued glaring at the solarwing and leapt at him, trying to take him down again. The nightwing said his name and he looked at him confused. How does he know my name? came the faint thought, but the thought flew away just as fast as it had come, the anger returning.
"Soldier listen to me-" the nightwing seemed to be saying, but Crest only slightly registered it. Wait....how does he know...I'm a soldier? The black dragon circled him and backed him into a corner, Crest's eyes always locked on the dragon. His breathing was getting heavier and more labored, but he continued looking for an opportunity to strike. His head cocked back and forth as the dull sounds seemed to be getting louder in his mind. His vision was blurring in and out and he shook his head to clear it. The scream from his sister seemed to be playing in repeat in his mind. Finally he saw the nightwing create an opening for him by showing his neck, and Crest reacted immediately, leaping off of his hind legs towards the exposed neck.
Suddenly his whole world went dark as he was pounded back to the ground by a flame-like tail. He slid across the ground a couple of feet until finally skidding to a stop. He felt blood trickling down the side of his head and he tried to open his eyes. He looked up and his jaw dropped, the nightwing was orange again. Solarwing... came the fleeting thought and suddenly a flood of noise came barreling into his ears and he cringed in pain. His head was throbbing and he suddenly started to recognize the dragon. He knew that he was royalty of some sort. "King Helios? What...what....." then he went black again slipping again from reality. His face contorted in pain as he started to feel every injury, but then it subsided again as he his sight came again and the noise dulled once more. He was back in the tinted world and he saw the nightwing. What is happening!!! He covered his head and sat there for a second in his confusion. "What...what...." he mumbled to himself. He stood up, and looked back at the dragon blinking several times, trying to see if the orange dragon would come back. He blinked once and looked back up.
He took a sharp breath as he saw a different dragon standing there. This dragon was smaller, dark blue, and looked at him with a worried expression. He breathed in and out hard, starting to hyperventilate. With wide eyes, he stumbled back a few paces. "Minami?! But...you were dead!" He shook his head. He heard the phrase again, It's not your fault. It was almost as if she had said it and tears began welling up in his eyes. His heart pounded and everything in him seemed to go numb. She took a step towards him and the tears began falling down his cheeks.
He shook his head, "This must be...a dream. You can't be here..." Her sea blue eyes sparkled as she stared into his, shaking her head. He forgot about everything and ran towards her, extending his wings to give her the most protective and brotherly hug he'd ever given her. As he ran, his vision began to tunnel and he began slipping away. No! "NO!" He shrieked. He swayed as he ran, desperately trying to reach his sister before his vision blacked out. His body slammed the ground again and skidded as he lost his balance and he tried to get up again, his entire body shaking.
His body dripped with blood and tears streamed down his face. He looked into the eyes of his sister, the sea swimming in them. He was so close. He took a few more desperate steps closer but collapsed again a few feet from her, his strength exhausted. He looked at her his vision completely leaving him and he muttered, "I was so close...."
"So close to saving you..."
"So close to getting you back..." Then his vision blacked out completely and he stopped moving. His breathing was shallow and he lay there on the blood stained ground.

(Sorry, I forgot to answer that. I was very into Helios and Crest lol XD)

Alyssia was having a sweet dream of being back in her hometown. A shrieking bird woke her up and she groaned as she realized where she was. Ugh, guess the island paradise was just a dream again. She sat up and jumped a little as she saw the hunter sitting at the edge of the oasis pool. He looked over at he and smiled, "Good morning, sunshine." She chuckled slightly at his playfulness and shook herself awake. Her head spun towards Whitestar leaping into the clearing. He spoke something in Dragonese and Alyssia looked towards Austin for help.
"Blackout, Alyssia, we should head to the caravan and see what we have to work with. I'll come with you." Austin translated for her.
She smiled gratefully and turned towards Whitestar, "Yes! We need to get a move on! This daylight won't last forever and we have a plan to put into place!"
She heard Austin's voice translating into dragon as he walked up beside her. Her excitement for her plan was brimming over and she had a slight bounce in her step as she made her way over to the edge of the oasis. "Shall we go then?" she said, her innocent and excited smile spreading across her face.
She stopped mid stride and looked back towards them again. "Wait," she said gesturing towards Austin, "don't we need to bring him so I can talk to you?"
Austin smiled slightly and finished translating.

Whitestar narrowed his eyes at the hunter, his tail twitching slightly as he thought and flicking sand down the bank of the pool. "I suppose," he said slowly. "We need him to help us figure out exactly how we are going to get into the Den using this caravan. But we need Blackout before we go scout it out." He glanced around the clearing, hoping to spot the Nightwing.

(Nah, you're good. The scene with Helios and Crest is super intense and this is character development)
