Eclipse lept into the hall after Tobias, her tail whipping painfully against the corner as she did. Tobias was struggling with a stolen weapon, and even though they were out of sight, the gunfire continued, and Eclipse shielded them both with her wing as a spray of shattered concrete broke off the opposite side of the wall.
She heard shouting in the hall again, followed by the sound of bullets connecting with metal. She glanced up, jumping slightly when she nearly bumped snouts with Bloodmoon. In all the chaos and noise, she hadn't heard him approach.
Eclipse hovered the shield on the other side of the transport Bloodmoon was using for cover, providing an extra layer of protection from the weapons.
"Hurry up," she growled to Tobias, who slammed his weapon against the wall with a small growl.

Roe sprinted down the hall, spotting Ferrin close ahead. Beckett, Wanda, and Solo went on ahead, easily out running the humans, scales shifting to match their surroundings.
Ferrin motioned Roe over, his makeshift mask still pulled over his face. Roe slowed, shouldering the shot gun as a guard rounded the corner, bullets careening off the walls.
The man fell to his knees dropping the gun, then scrambling to pick it up again.
Ferrin shot him, his eyes still locked on Roe. "Are they out?" He asked desperately, pushing himself against the wall and motioning for the others to follow.

A sudden scream pierced through The Maze, and Tobias shivered, giving Eclipse a steady nod as he took his place behind the shield.
"We're here, August." Roe said through the ear piece, and he smiled with relief, turning to Eclipse.
"We have backup."

Bloodmoon followed Eclipse's silent order and repositioned the small whirly thing. The fear in the air was getting to much for him, one of the bad parts about feeling emotions that weren't yours.
