Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

"Third floor." Ferrin murmered, stepping into the elevator, dropping the leather backpack at his feet.
The room dropped quite swiftly, and Ferrin lifted his gaze, cocking his head at the guard manning the floor control.
The man shrugged, "Got so many people coming up, so little room. Had to adjust speed."
Ferrin's lip twitched in annoyance as the elevator halted abruptly. The doors slid open, at least a dozen security guards standing wait.
Briefcase in hand, Ferrin stepped out of the elevator, dragging his pack behind him for a moment before swinging the bag up and hoisting it over a bony shoulder.
The guards quickly loaded into the elevator, leaving the stark white halls once again silent. Ferrin exhaled slowly. It had been a while since he'd had to navigate The Maze's third level. But this is where they were keeping the rebellion. Taking quick, confident steps, Ferrin strode down the hall, heading straight for the infirmary.

That’s a lot to read….and I usually read it no matter how long it is….but…
Could y’all sum up what’s happened and what I need to reply to? I’ve been super busy at work and I’ve been sick the last three days so it’s been hard to get on byc at all. Im sorry! I know it’s a hassle
I don't think there is much for Rose to RP to rn
What about King?

They escaped the SD. Tobias didn't make it out, but he is alive. Roe died. Sol made it to the first Checkpoint. Those are main things one my side.

Guilt clawed at Eclipse's chest and she glanced at Bloodmoon again. He looked discouraged and Eclipse couldn't say she didn't know why. She sighed, running a talon over her snout before she laid back on the ground, still keeping her distance from the Nightwing.
"Did you ever think about leaving the Den before now?" she muttered, flicking a stray pebble that had been tracked into the transport across the metal floor.

@Mary Poopins Love
"Never. One dragon can't escape the scorpion den alone."
Sunspot watched the exchange shamelessly for a few moments, ears pricked. Interesting. The NightWing seems to have a little crush on her, and Eclipse doesn’t seem to hate his guts…

She decided she’d be nosy about it later.

Tam waited expectantly, but no door opened. He glanced at Fracture excpectantly. She raised an eye brow, unamused.
"Hey," Tam started, jutting his chin towards the dragon, "ask him if he's seen Ferrin."
Fracture glanced at Jabez, trying to make eye contact.
Jabez looked at the lady, she seemed to be trying to talk to him. *Yes?*
I have to orchestrate that? I mean- of course, yes, I get to orchestrate that, alrighty, hokay, here goes:

Owens followed the truck closely, not daring to let it out of sight. Fracture hadn't told her where Checkpoint One was located- it made her less valuable. More protected.
The car to her left turned their blinker on, and in an agresssive surge, Owens sped her car ahead, closely tailgating the transport truck, but protecting her position. She had no way of communicating with the truck driver, and she wasn't sure he even knew who she was.
Now side by side with the car she had half passed, her car lights reflected shining letters on the other cars side: City Police.
Her heart seemed to jackknife, and her foot instinctively moved to the brake, but bright lights suddenly flooded the interior of her car, and she quickly realized there was a second cop car behind her, light flashing. The truck ahead signaled to the right, breaking.
"Nononono," Owens whispered, gripping the wheel. She followed him, buzzing over the rumble strip, pulling to a stop behind the truck.
I"M BACK!!!!!!!!!!111111

Eclipse was silent for a long moment, unsure where to divert the conversation next.
She glanced up at the dragons in the transport again, this time, spotting Sunspot nearby, watching them, her ears pricked in interest.
Eclipse felt the scales under her eyes start to glow again and she gave the Solarwing a hard look before standing up and pacing to the back of the transport closest to the door, and furthest from all the other dragons.
Will this trip never end? she thought in frustration, sliding to the ground again with her back facing the other rescues. She thought again vaguely if Tobias and Roe ever got out of the Den. The longer she thought about it, the more guilty she felt about leaving them behind. Would it have changed whatever outcome they came to? For better or worse? What if they had both died because she wasn't there to help them?
Eclipse remembered somewhat wryly how much she had hated them when she'd first come to the Den. All she had known about humans to that point was that they were insane and violent. That nothing good ever came from them.
Tobias had shown her otherwise. She could easily see how vastly her perspective on the creatures had shifted because of him. Because of all of the humans in the rebellion. They were complicated. If not all of them, then at least a decent majority.
And she'd left them behind.
Eclipse growled softly and folded a wing over her head, trying to redirect her thoughts.
There's nothing you can do about it now, she thought bitterly.
Suddenly the transport shifted something about the gravity inside the space shoving forward. Eclipse lifted her head sharply, her ears flicking toward the sides of the machine where a soft shrieking noise was sounding.
The transport jostled as it began to slow even more and Eclipse stood up, along with a few other dragons. Finally, all movement in the vehicle stopped.
No one moved, all the dragons falling silent, alert.

Owens parked the car, throwing the door open and sprinting towards the stocky, grey beared truck driver, who was slowly making his way towards the back of the truck.
"Don't tell them, don't tell them," Owens begged, the humid night air stifling. A car whizzed by, dangerously close.
The trucker pushed Owens against the truck, flipping the driver off, though the car was obviously long gone. "Quiet, lass. Here they come."
A pair of officers strode up, guns in hand as if on high alert. "Registration."
No 'good evening', no nod of the head, absolutely no exchange of pleasantries, which only increased the tension in the air.
The trucker handed him a few papers. The other officer nodded at Owens. "Have you a relation to this man?"
"Daughter." The trucker answered immediately.
Owens nodded.
"Huh." The cop handed back the papers with unnecessary force.
He banged on the side of the truck. "Let's see what's in here." The officer extended his hand. "Key."
