Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Eclipse stumbled again as the vehicle jerked, flinching as another volley of bullets tore through the back of the truck. Dragons shrieked and scrambled to get out of the way as several of the projectiles ricocheted off the metal walls. Eclipse felt one of them graze her neck and she ducked, readjusting the warping shield in front of the swinging door. She glanced around briefly for the girl that had been standing beside her a moment before, fearing what she might find.
The human was lying on the ground in front of Bloodmoon and a very panicked-looking Sunspot. Blood welled out of the girl's chest and seeped down her clothes, her eyes flickering dangerously dim.
The transport heaved again and Eclipse slammed into the closed door, her warping shield ringing like a town bell as it banged against one of the walls and nearly fell out of the truck.
Another eruption of bullets tore through the truck, and Eclipse lifted the shield quickly, only managing to block a little more than half of the weapon fire.
She stumbled over to the open door, pressing against the one that was latched to hold her balance as she recollected the broken pieces of warping off the ground. The silver metal glinted menacingly as a large blade formed behind the shield and Eclipse peered tentatively around the corner before launching the blade at one of the flashing transports. The dagger smashed through the fragile clearstone on the front and the vehicle swerved violently. Eclipse ducked back behind the door to avoid another round of fire, not caring to see what became of the transport she'd hit, only summoning the blade back and reinforcing the metal on the shield.
Blasted moons, we have to get that door closed.
She growled low in her throat as more of the gunfire shredded the warping.

Also, this is good, I am SO hooked.

Ferrin arched an eye brow, giving Rose a critical look. "I just love the trust thing going on here." He stood. "Look around you. Look around  me. If I were on your side," Ferrin spat, his voice suddenly intense, louder than before, "would I tell you so in public?" He grabbed his bags, "No. I am no fool. Unlike the lot of you rebellious scum." Ferrin leaned close to the cage, lowering his voice, "I am going to get you out of here, give me half a moment. Don't say anything stupid."
Rose played along, fixing him with a violent glare and growling low and deep. “Hmmm.” She breathed, still looking mildly suspicious underneath the pain.
Where’s that one taking Tobias? And are the others safe?”
She asked, pointing at the figure dragging the limp but somehow rigid Tobias down the hallway.

What is going on here?!?!? 😧

What is going on here?!?!? 😧
Well they got pulled over and the city police had to check to truck for some reason and when they opened it, at first the one guy was like "seems fine" and the other one was like "why is that one growling (possibly referring to Eclipse or Sunspot)" and then he was gonna shoot them and so Eclipse had to kill them and they didn't get both doors closed before they were on the highway again and Owens got shot and is now dead and they still haven't got the other door closed but Eclipse is trying to keep them from shooting all the dragons at the same time trying to figure out how to close the other door so yeah

"Rebel scum"

Dude, :gig

Where’s that one taking Tobias? And are the others safe?”
She asked, pointing at the figure dragging the limp but somehow rigid Tobias down the hallway.
Ferrin gave a dull shake of his head. "I literally just told you not to ask stupid questions. Rose, love, please oblige." He straightened his suit, giving the dragon a knowing look. "I'll be right back."

It was very simple to retrieve the key from the Infirmary- surprisingly simple. Ferrin was quite famous, especially within the medic field, earning the doctors undying trust.
He sauntered back down the hallway, four security guards following him closely. Ferrin openly winced at the sight of Rose's leg as he handed the key to one of guards, taking a step back and folding his arms across his chest. "I'm not sure she can walk," Ferrin murmered, sounding bored as he glanced down at his watch.
The cell door swung open and a pair of guards stepped in on either side of Rose, one brandishing a long steel taser.
Ferrin took a deep breath, giving Rose a warning glance as he looked away. She'd better have to sense to keep her mouth shut. The slightest hint of suspicion towards Ferrin could ruin any change of escape and/or survival for the rebel prisoners.

“It’s pointless,” Sunspot hissed, turning away and hurrying back to the doorway. She quickly realized this was an awful idea, bullets ricocheting off the transport and whizzing past her head. One struck her crest, leaving a perfect hole and a stinging pain. Sunspot flattened it, lowering her whole body to the floor and slithering backwards.

In the alarm she noticed something. A faint warning of her scales. And since her scales took a considerable amount of energy to flare maybe….

She tested her theory. She coughed up a bout of flame, about half smoke, but fire nonetheless.

“Suns help me,” she muttered, heading back to Eclipses side. “I have an awful idea. I can head out of here and try to draw their fire from above, try to take out a few vehicles. My firebreath is coming back so I’m not completely useless.”

Eclipse turned to Sunspot, her eyes wide with alarm.
"Are you crazy," she hissed, flinching as more bullets racked the transport. "They'll shoot you down in seconds."
She launched another warping blade blindly out the open door.

“Well??” Sunspot snapped. “You know as well as I that you can’t keep this up forever, Eclipse. And the moment you stop, or slip up, we’ll all be shot to bits! We don’t have much of a choice.”
