Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Ferrin gave a dull shake of his head. "I literally just told you not to ask stupid questions. Rose, love, please oblige." He straightened his suit, giving the dragon a knowing look. "I'll be right back."

It was very simple to retrieve the key from the Infirmary- surprisingly simple. Ferrin was quite famous, especially within the medic field, earning the doctors undying trust.
He sauntered back down the hallway, four security guards following him closely. Ferrin openly winced at the sight of Rose's leg as he handed the key to one of guards, taking a step back and folding his arms across his chest. "I'm not sure she can walk," Ferrin murmered, sounding bored as he glanced down at his watch.
The cell door swung open and a pair of guards stepped in on either side of Rose, one brandishing a long steel taser.
Ferrin took a deep breath, giving Rose a warning glance as he looked away. She'd better have to sense to keep her mouth shut. The slightest hint of suspicion towards Ferrin could ruin any change of escape and/or survival for the rebel prisoners.

Rose tried cautiously to stand, but the muscle in her leg had been severed and it was impossible to use her back leg. Instead she limped slowly on her other three, using her bound wings to steady herself. They seemed to be leading her to a small medical room, Ferrin taking the lead with two guards at his side and two at hers, one holding a long evil looking taser pointed down at her neck. “This’n looks like a carvin’ don’ she Ferrin?” One of the men said, a thick accent coating his words.

“Well??” Sunspot snapped. “You know as well as I that you can’t keep this up forever, Eclipse. And the moment you stop, or slip up, we’ll all be shot to bits! We don’t have much of a choice.”
"We'll figure something out," Eclipse retorted sharply, stumbling sideways as the transport lurched again. She pulled her warping blade back, finding it satisfyingly tainted with blood on one edge.
"I'm not taking any unnecessary risks." She stared at the Solarwing, meeting Sunspot's gaze. "We can't promise that your dying will actually give us all a better chance or not. Stay. Here."

Sunspot narrowed her eyes and stared at the LunarWing for a few moments. “Fine, since you seem to care about me so much,” she grumbled. “I’m not too keen on risking my tail either.”

“But I don’t want to sit here and do nothing and get shot either.”

Eclipse growled, pressing against the closed door again for support as the truck swerved again.
"How powerful is your fire?" she called to Sunspot over the thundering of another round of gunfire.

Ferrin rolled his eyes. "Actually, um- a, you, guards, or whatever, I want her in the Adjacent Cells."
The guards eye brows raised as they pushed Rose past the Infirmary. Ferrin was glad the dragon could at least hobble, albeit he held his breath on her account with every shaking step.
"And why the Adjacents, sir?" The guard with the taser questioned, relaxing considerably as Rose limped on obediently.
Ferrin pushed his backpack further up his shoulder as it slipped, his briefcase in the other hand. "She will be staying in the Adjacent Cells and I want to avoid a second move." Ferrin's lip twitched in annoyance. "The stitches will tear."
They walked a few halls in absolute silence, besides every pained, quivering breath of Rose's. Blood began to drip from the wound quite steadily after a few more halls, and Ferrin hadn't realized he had been holding his breath until they reached the long corridor of cell doors, the occupants name's shining above on every doorway.
One of the guards moved to open the first cell door, but Ferrin shook his head, his eyes scanning over the names. Rose was hesitant to start walking again, but the guard lifted the taser above her neck with a certain amount of ferocity, and she stumbled, Ferrin relaxing his stiff shoulder and releasing a tense breath once she was moving again. "This one." He nodded to the door, the digital plaque above, nameless.

@Crestcrazy2. Sorry. I'll try to remember a tag at the end of every post. Unless you want otherwise. But it's nice for me at least not to have to be continually checking- maybe it's the same for you.

Rose slowly got inside the cell, a guard nearby drumming his fingers across a keyboard and entering the name, Wither Rose Freeborn Into the digital panel. The door squealed shut with the horrid sound of metal scraping on metal.
Possibly a faulty door, maybe I can escape? It sounds as if it’s adjusted wrong, could help. If Ferrin turns out untrustworthy.

She breathed out a short few breaths as she layed down, pain coursing thru her as she settled her Injured leg. Her head still pounded nauseatingly, making her feel sick and unstable. There wasn’t a single plant in this hallway, so no Leafspeak was trying to pry into her head. But the voices she could hear weren’t comforting either.

“Not as strong as I’d like,” Sunspot shouted back, shooting an experimental blast past Eclipses head. “But it works now.” Her claws skittered on the floor of the transport and she pinned her ears against the cacophony of noise.
