Eclipse bounded quickly across the sand toward Tobias as soon as the Cloudwing left, stopping beside Sol and kneeling down close to the human. Tobias flinched at the sight of her and she took a step back, understanding why. The Cloudwing was obviously part Lunarwing, and the human's gaze was still slightly unfocused, blurry from pain and exhaustion. One of his arms was wrapped against his chest, and she could see the black around his shoulder and hand. She watched Sol drop onto the sand beside him, limp with relief, tears streaming down his warm, red scales. Eclipse was glad Tobias was somewhat okay now, but she couldn't find enough relief to even smile. She stood back, watching the two of them silently.
Roe was dead. Guilt started building in her chest, making her wings and head droop.
Why did I leave them? I should never have left them behind. Tobias is hurt; He was almost killed. Roe's gone. I could have protected them. I could have done something. I should have never left.
She took a pace forward, reaching out a talon and sliding it behind the human's shoulders, supporting him.
"Three
moons, Tobias," she murmured. "What happened?"

Sol glanced back as Tobias released a stifled breath. Eclipse helped him into a sitting position. "Three
moons, Tobias. What happened?"
Sol shook his head as Tobias sucked in a sharp breath through his teeth, his eyes closed tightly. "Be careful, Eclipse." Sol said quietly, more so for his own comfort than actual concern.
"I'm fine, I'm fine," Tobias whispered, his voice barely audible.
Sol sighed, knowing Tobias wished to comfort them with his words, but his twisted expression betrayed him entirely.
A shadow appeared on the tall dune above, and Sol gave a quick, grimacing smile, as Gen approached.
The hybrid moved to Tobias first, lifting the human's head back from where he rested against Eclipse's forearm. He pushed back sweaty hair, wiping blood of the man's face. Tobias' breathing had evened out, but sweat still ran down his face and neck, his torn, black shirt soaked through. Gen moved down to the man's chest, keeping his head propped up with the other talon.
"What are you doing here." Sol asked, trying to stand.
Gen motioned the red dragon back, glancing over his shoulder at Sol. "Look at your leg. It's poisoned. I'll be there in a moment." He twisted Tobias' head slightly, frowning when the man winced, his breaths quickening.
"Gen, did you come here to kill him?" Sol nodded towards Tobias, growling as his back leg buckled.
The hybrid said nothing, gently moving August's arm away from his ribs. Tobias' face paled as Gen worked, assessing the damage with a careful touch until Tobias jerked back, his quick breaths dizzying with anticipation.
Gen pulled away, moving to Sol. "I don't know." He replied, cocking his head slightly. "I can't remember."
Sol didn't move, staying still as Gen studied his back leg. The hybrid quickly shook his head, his gaze staring blankly to his left. "That poison going to spread and kill him if it isn't removed. Did you get back-up?"
Kal suddenly appeared, his eyes narrowed at the SandWing. "You
creep me out, dude. Yeah. Kassa went back."
Gen nodded. "We need to get back to your headquarters." His gaze moved to Tobias, then up to Eclipse. "Are
you okay?"
@-Shade-. Yes. I
did spend the last 40 minuets writing that. It's gunna take me
