Ajax raised a scaly eyebrow. “I don’t know…” he trailed off. “I don’t see the point. I appreciate the help and all, but I don’t think I’d be happy with a new life.”
“How close are we from the destination?” Ajax suddenly asked in monotone. He really needed a subject change.
How stupid! Why was I just spilling my whole life to some dragoness that I’d don’t even know? No more of that. We just need to find some water and actually focus on what we’re doing. Ajax thought, shaming himself for even saying anything.
