"If you're going to throw up, do it now. Otherwise, I have food for you." She held out the cactus fruit before the dragon's eyes, her other arm wrapped around his chest. "It's good, man. It's so good. And you have got to eat, pal."
He coughed again, and Vel shook her head, grateful for her large size. The metallic dragon was considerably heavy, but she was considerably large, evening out the weight. She propped him up on his side, moving to stand directly Infront of him.
She offered him the fruit.

Alicnato blinked rapidly, his eyelids faltering heavily.
"What even... what is that?"
He pressed his eyes shut, turning his head away as the world spun from dizziness and he let his head drop.
"I can't..." he murmured, his energy continuing to plummet. "Not hungry..."

"Alicanto, I swear I'll stuff this sh- shtuff down you're throat if it's the last thing I do." She snarled. "Don't you DARE fall asleep." She shook his head roughly in one talon.

Arya watched the struggle play out. Alicanto looked to be in bad shape. She wondered what had happened.

Cochineal was obsessively wiping the dust off his glasses, which always never seemed to go away. He snorted in frustration before laying his head down, wings buzzing in irritation.

Alicanto let out a small gasp as pain flared into his skull again from Vel's shaking. He opened his eyes and shot the Rainwing a sharp glare, which immediately vanished as his vision swam again.
"Stupid Rainwing... I'll bite your talons off... don't you dare."
He heaved another deep, pained breath, closing his eyes again.
"I just... need... to rest..."

Vel released a constricting, panicked breath, changing tactics.
She scooped a bit of the fruit into her claws, moving to the CloudWing's opposite side. She tipped his head up, moving a claw between his his teeth to separate his jaws.
"Alicanto, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I'm sorry-" she looked away, trying to shake an ill induced panic. "You've got to eat. And I don't want to fight you. I really don't. But I will."
She stood over him, her shadow looming over his body. She didn't want the sun to affect his sight.
"Let me help you.
Let me help you."

"I hate you..." he mumbled around her talons, feeling the fruit touch his tongue.
He wasn't entirely sure why he was mad at her. Maybe he was just running on instinct. He didn't really have the mental power to dwell on it though.

Vel hesitated at his words.
He was delirious, anyhow. Probably didn't even know what he was saying.
Vel took another quick, anxious breath, pushing more food into his mouth.
"Swallow, Alicanto." She whispered, scooping up water from the river. "Cooperate with me, pal." She felt herself begin drifting towards hardcore mode again. "Come on."

Alicanto choked as the fruit and the water swept into his throat, half of it coming back up as his throat tightened, the rest sliding down.
He coughed once, trying to pull his head away again and swallowing a little more of the tangy chunks, his eyes flashing open briefly.

"You're so tragic." Vel commented, cupping more water gently into his mouth. She sat, pulling him against herself. With careful talons, she scooped more fruit. "Good job, Alicanto. Good job, buddy."
She glanced up at the newcomers, who were watching her with a collectively suspicious gaze.
"Eat a little more."
