So according to Metzer there is a small percentage chance of getting a welsh harlequin that lays blue eggs. Has anyone ever seen any of them?
I have found someone that has blue eggs from welsh harlequins I am just wondering if that is really rare as I think or if it’s more normal than it

That's very interesting! I've only had two welsh harlequins, but both layed white eggs.

I bought Welsh Harlequin breeding stock directly from Dave Holderread last fall when he retired. One was a lower quality female who was absolutely beautiful but had an orange bill. She also has the additional fault of laying lovely blue eggs!

I absolutely adore her! I would love to know how to keep her looks and pass on the genetic trait of blue eggs. Any of you genetics experts got any suggestions for me?
