Yeah, we watched a show about the making of it that compared it to the real story. So I didn't rush out to see it. I'll wait until its handy at the video store.

If you like kids movies, The Last Mimzy was a neat flick. Definitely more for the Middle school and younger set. The teen wasn't as amused...

I guess 300 was based more on that one guys book (graphic novel, I think my son called it; full-length comic book to me!), rather than on history itself. But I guess they all really did die at the end right? And the Persians eventually did give up on conquering the Greeks, right?
I still loved the movie, though. All those manly men! I agree on Hugh Jackman.. mmm .mmm mmm.
I'll tell you a movie I was disgusted with was Eragon. I like the book OK, although I thought the kid was kind of a whiny pain in the butt, but the second book, Eldest was awesome. But the movie was so wrong!!!
Here's a good chick flick that I love, the remade version of Sabrina, where Harrison Ford plays Linus. I could watch it over and over!

I'd rather drool over Harrison Ford or Hugh Jackman than watch ONE MORE rerun of Steven Segal whackin' people!

I had a friend (about 15 years ago) who was obsessed with him, until she found out that he left his wife (the 'don't hate me because I'm beautiful' chick) and ran off with his kids' nanny. She wouldn't watch his movies any more after that!

When he talks it's like he's got marbles in his mouth.

Plus he looks like that guy from the Fintstone cartoon about the "Fat Mouth" guy. (Great big buy in TV roll, Fat Mouth, but guy has little bitty mouth, Fred ends up with the part because he's the one with the really Fat Mouth.
