Kids went to daycare today because Shane thinks I need to clean the house. .....

I think maybe I will go back to bed.


Random thoughts: the neighbor just brought over a ton of watermelons. He let them ripen too long on the vine, so he tossed them in the coop. Will the chickens get drunk? Let's find out!

drats...i forgot to put the garbage out last night. I'm not used to this whole putting the garbage out thing...I had a dumpster at my old house and just put it out as a bag was full or what have you. Plus these garbage guys come around 3 am so there's no waking up early to put it out...so I'm always worried about animals rummaging and making a mess. I know, get one with a lid...well, soon as my house gets in order and I don't have a huge mound crammed in my 2 allowable containers...maybe I will switch over to my cans with lids AND plus they have wheels...that would be handy...but presently, I don't see it happening.

oh yeah, the beer can stuffed up the rumpus...i've had that meal before.
