I took in stray children too while my son was growing up. Disappointed many times, but I never have had any regret. Some parents are just not fit to have their kids and if they feel better at my place, ok.

Yeah, I never will get why a parent hates a child. I am a strict parent. My kids have insane rules. But, if it's legal, I am fine to let them live their lives.

We are the "good" house. Always have extra kids around. Will listen to any kid. Yeah, my kids don't go to other homes because parents ignore the kids. As annoying as it may get, all the kids get why.
lol i just gave permission for the kids to start a band and use my garage for practice on Sat. One caveat I made, they all have to learn to read notes. I'd rather the kids be here banging on drums than out in trouble.

Ugh, my neck hurts, my right shoulder is flaring up, my left knee hurts. This sucks. Too much extra weight.

Speaking of foster children...our new little guy moved out this evening.
They had a family member step up and petition for custody of all 4 kids and the judge awarded it, effective immediately. The director of DSS called me up at 6pm and needed him asap, so I had to pack up his clothes (half are in the dirty laundry hamper, so they'll have to wait a bit for those) and I took him up there an hour later. He cried when I told him he was leaving us.
