On the bad news side, We didnt get the loan for the house. Banks are frowning on the fact that the large chunk of our income comes from social security and VA disability, plus they want us to pay a higher interest rate because we own our present home out right and wont be selling it. They called it double jeopardy (we could always get a loan on the house and put ourselves at financial risk

). This economy crap sucks!!! Oh well I have to believe there is a reason for not getting the house. Just disappointed. I guess we will just stay put for a while. Thinking maybe I can talk my DH into a least a new coop if we are gonna stay put.
