I'll be thinking of you Algae!

I have to say that when I had one teeny tiny bantam cochin roo crowing his lungs out at 5:30 a.m. with all my windows open this morning, I was really wondering why I have even ONE roo.

I get the idea, but how urban is SD county and all that info? It's not a total all out NO ROOSTERS allowed ban, and I get that in an urban setting, multiple roosters crowing their fool hearts out could be an issue.

SD county is huge, and large chunks are rural, we're talking orange and avacado farms, strawberry farms, even several bulb flower farms. SD as a city is moderatly sized, but that's at the very SW tip of the county. in the city I can get the no roosters thing, and i don't grump about it (i'm limited to 4 hens no roos), but when you're in the county, and are next to 100 acres of avacados, it's pretty dumb.

It could make for less tasty avocados. you know what they say about plants and singing.... and tree huggers are prolly all over that.

I almost had to explain to the coworker why I burst out laughing, but I decided he isn't up to the challenge of following along so I didn't.

But now he's probably wondering why I snorted and laughed

The nurses think I'm insane. That's ok, I am. I'm also bored. And the smacktop battery is dying, so whaaaa, I really do have to get off the computer now

Charlotte will give the PM update probably after I see the dr tonight. Then she'll probably be around most of the night again, thanks so much for keeping her company last night. DFS and her both say they are ok with being in charge at night, and MIL gets in tomorrow, and DH is just about worthless at home right now. So we'll try one more night of this insanity.

We're here for her.

I mopped when they were done. Though I may need to rinse mop once the mop head runs through the washer. It is YUCKY.

Ok-- so at the risk of getting in trouble, has anyone saw the "how to get husband to build the coop" thread and thought, "You must not have been married very long"?
