I think Belle has Holland Lops.

Most feed stores should have them. The one I used in California sold them in 50lb and 80lb bags. only straight alfalfa cubes though, I think. But still fun for them to chew on for a treat. And a bag would last foreeeeeeeeever.

Before the kits came our feed lasted forever too. Since they came, not so much!!!! Those babes can EAT!!!! The cuteness factor overweighs the desire for them to knock it off.

Cici tonight. Night is weird. It's too quiet. Mom says hi, and she wants ideas on what to do for the next week. Dr said they will go Monday for sure, earlier if any problems. So a month early isn't too bad?

Oh, cute baby rabbits? Are they nice rabbits? Mom doesn't like Bun-Bun the Bad. Dad hates him. But Bun-Bun is old and cranky, so we keep his mean self. He wouldn't make good stew.

no, because of the shots for the lungs a month early should be okay (I believe it's only 2-3 weeks early on monday). Hmm any books she wants to read? does she knit or crochet? DVD's on the laptop? When I had to stay in the hospital I made a bunch of hats and scarves for the vetran's hospital to give out at christmas. Any small handheld things is good.

Squinty is adorable! And nice.

Debi, I see you on the feed issue. I bought a bag this weekend and gee, it sure seems to be going fast. I only have a dwarf breed, geez! But I have 14 of them, and am free feeding most of them currently.

Tribble is on a diet. She is SO HATEFUL about it. half cup of pellets a day and some hay if she is lucky. She is ticked.

Hehehehe a ticked rabbit is not a nice rabbit. I am free feeding as well. Friday they are 8 weeks. Removal from mom and a controlled diet. We shall see how THAT goes!

DVDs would be ok, I will get Nonna to log into Netflix and see what Mom wants to see. Thanks Saddina! Mom should be home at least before Annika starts school, that's what she really wants.

I was going to wean at 6 weeks but since Squinty is alone, I am just going to keep him with mom for now. He is 5 weeks old today. She seems to be pretty dried up already. He is eating hay and pellets and so could be weaned any time I guess. But since he won't have any buddies, i hate to put him by himself for no reason.

In september I am breeding trios of does at once. Going to use all 3 bucks a time. 3 girls being bred september 5th. 3 girls being bred September 15th. 1 girl will be bred later in september or early october....All the kits will be ready in time for Christmas so I can hopefully easily sell the pet quality ones....
