DANG it! I am leery of facebooking friends anymore. Sorta burnt out on it actually

I am never on facebook. Until lately that is---so the MIL can share pics of the kids.

But I can go three months without getting on there, and then forget my passwrod.

I have been canning plum jam today. It smells delish.

Then Shane says, "Why are you making de-constipating baby food?"

I gave him a look.

"What?" He asked. "Isn't that baby prunes?"

So, remember Pecky the rooster attacked Poof Face my 9 year old hen and tore her up really bad?
So I stuck her in isolation with neosporin all over her wounds, and all I do is check every day to see if she is alive or not.
well, today I got her out for a bit to check out the wounds. Her head is NOT 3 times the size anymore and the owies are scabbing over, no sign of infection.
One eye is stuck shut. I put her in the grass and she just squatted. She was looking at a bug with her one eye.
Well, I got son to come hold her, and I pulled open the stuck eyelid. It was a scary task, and not too easy, and I didn't want to be hurting her.
But..........................she still has an eye!! And no infection in there.
I filled all her wounds with neosporin again, and both her eyes, and stuck her back in isolation cage.
I just now took cottage cheese out to her, she seemed a little perkier now that both eyes are open again, and she immediately started eating her cottage cheese!!
