My stand is not lifted, its more like a play house sitting between two cottonwoods, with a barber chair and a sunflower head heater. I like it, but I'd not mind being where bears cant reach me.... My stand is next to our creek and part of two of our corn fields, so hopefully I get some decent traffic this year.

Next year we're lifting my stand, about half the height of DH's because I'm not overcompensating for anything.

That'd be AM. In the PM, it's dark waaaaaaay before 8:30.

I don't actually take a gun, I just sit with DH and sleep. It's very relaxing.
