I grew up eating government peanut butter and prunes. I thought I had worked hard enough to get away from all this.

I will have to look up WIC. It does not seem to be part of the AZ assistance program.

WIC is nice in that they have healthy food, which is some what nicer. Yes, we signed up. Sigh. It's base is something like $550 a month, but they'll kick in for special formula if doctor requires it. Dr said he'd not be surprised if Thomas and Patrick wind up on special formula.

Here's the eligibility fun for AZ - AZ WIC

Driving in snow in a state that knows how to handle snow - easy peasy.

Driving in snow in South Carolina, Texas, Arkansas, etc - OMG, NEVER!

If the state gets snow normally and can handle it, it's fine. It's when a state that doesn't get snow gets 1/2", they don't have the means to clear the streets, so it's a cluster.

I freak out when it sprinkles, and can get lost in a paper bag. Can you REALLY see me living in a place where it is cold? My whole identity would implode.

Dr sees it often with any pre-terms, with multiples, and with the steriods. So I've got 2 for sure, the pre-term is yeah, maybe, but not really now. But it was on the list from before.

Plus, in general, all the kids have been lactose intolerant, so that means we'll be on soy or something else equally nasty.

I had to have soy formula as a baby, which my mom had forgotten about, and I didn't know till about 2 months ago while I was reading thru my old adoption file. My parents sent updates to the agency for like the first 2 years. Anyways, apparently I did VERY poorly on plain so they switched me to soy and I was fine after that. My kids never had issues like that. I am not lactose intollerant now, I just hate milk, different.

Yeah, got me, the kids are all fine on cow milk after about 2 or 3 - and if it's actually milk from healthy cows, not the over processed, hormone laced milk.

Who's teasing? Shane is all for it--only because he hasn't thought of the logistics. It sounds all well and good until he realizes "what are we going to do with mom, his dad, my dad, the house, his business, his investments, ALL of his friends..." etc.

The cities arent that bad, for someone like you who is used to PHX the Cities would be home sweet frozen home. The cost of living is lower here. And think of the fun to be had with Orchy and I!?!
