Dear Wide-eyed optimist,

It wasn't a double yolker, you just can't count.

Suck an egg (or two!),

I got 2 hours more sleep than usual last night and I still feel like I need a nap.

Thanks to a raging fever I slept ALL NIGHT and ALL DAY yesterday. Tom woke me up about dinner time to snuzzle a fuzzy that he brought up from the brooder. Gotta love that "new fuzzy" feel

Does someone come by every so often and ruffle it while squealing, "It's so SOFT and FLUFFY!!!!"?

The ruffling and squealing is the only reason DD doesn't like her hair. She never rememberes that she started it by poking my in the belly and telling me I was f;uffy

DD likes to doing my curls, and every time she actually says "Doing Doing Doing..."

Wet carpet with pet "residue" NEVER comes 100% clean and fresh. Just doesn't happen....the older the carpet, the harder to clean. It's the padding underneath that is the culprit.

Thus explaining why some of us do not have carpets.

Laminate is so much easier to clean. Love it!!!!

We have bamboo flooring, still equally wonderful to clean.

Algae, you apparently have not been introduced to Laree's super snarky alter-ego, Crankypants.

We have a little of everything, hardwood, ceramic tile, laminate, vct tile...it all cleans up well. The only carpet in the house is on the stairwell to the basement and in our younger DS's room....the ONE time a dog peed in the house, it was in his room. And the pukey cat's favorite place to puke is on the basement stairs. But there was nothing else to do with those stairs with the way they were built, so we carpeted them with a remnant and figured in 5 years we can do it again if we need to.

I just haven't seen anything on a double yolker hatching. But I'm slow. Often am.

Yup, we have all bamboo flooring. No area rugs. Yet where do the cats INSIST on puking? They MUST get on upholstered furniture to puke. Always. Bad cats.

Totally.

Or her husband is messing with her. Like that old dude who would leave boiled eggs on the neighbor's stoop, because her pullets were taking FOOOOOOREVER to lay.

When DD's hair is long she has corkscrew curls, only my sound effect is 'Boing'. Such fun... for ME!
