Tell me just WHO thinks its a good idea to name an entire town "Climax"?

Considering how many restrictions there were on vocabulary in the pioneer days and how this entire region was settled by religious Skandinavians I do feel that this is a legitimate question.

Climax is a little town here in northern MN. Fertile is the town where my mom lives. There is a story around here about the time a woman from Fertile died in a car accident near the town of Climax. I've never seen anything proving this legendary headline, but it amuses.

My dad claims it was a real live headline when he was in college. But he was a hippie...
