It was. Did you not read all about it?

I almost got this, just to be spiteful:

You should have.

I did read but I didn't know it was over 6 hours!! I mean, maybe 2 hours at a store but anymore than that and well, I dunno... that's just crazy talk.

Ikea is like a city. We ate breakfast there at 9:30 (full breakfast for $2), shopped, shopped, went crazy, I dumped E in the play area and shopped with R (who was upset he couldnt play with E), picked E up at 12:10, ate lunch, checked out, loaded, left at 1:22, home ~ 2. So if I left the house ~8:30 and had to wait for the cafe to open at 9:30, that's 6 hours, right?

Math is hard today.

You get to drop off your kids? I wish I could do that at the grocery store.

Yeah, it has a 20 by 30 foot ball pit, a big running area, crafts area, a 2-story slide, and TV and other crap.

The kids have to be 37-54" (R was only 36.75", hence the crying) and they'll watch your kids for an hour for free. You get a restaurant blinky pager and everything.

Some of the grocery stores here used to have play centers. Fry's was one of them.

If I had children, i would drop them off and then never pick them up.

I try to compare how I feel about my animals to how others must feel about their children. Sounds wonky but hey, I don't like kids. So I just don't "get it". I couldn't handle small children needing something 24/7. When the dogs get annoying I just send them to their beds. Or put them in their crates.

My dogs were my kids before I had kids. The feeling is the same, but soooo much stronger I could not begin to describe it.

Especially when they start hugging back.
