Over 24 hours later... Where'd y'all go?

Another rotten night with Jacob. This time he just cried from 3am to 5:30am, which was an improvement fro
the vomiting but another sleepness night. Teething, maybe? At least DH is home now.

Oh Belle, I really do feel for you. When Hannah and SaraRaRa were 2 and 3 the got a revolving virus that they kept for FOUR months. Vomit, diarrhea, fever..rinse repeat. I think I lost my mind for a while that time.

Thanks, McFly! FOUR months? I think I'd just book a bed at the funny farm. Yikes!

He had a good night last night - thank goodness! He got up a few times to nurse, but no hours of crying. Hopefully whatever was bugging him is done now. His breathing has been good for a week, so I knew he was over the croup, couldn't be that.

Morning!

Belle, I hope you get some rest, you and baby!

DH is a very fortunate man, fortunate that I can sit on my hands faster than I can wring his neck that is.

I always say Mars is in retrograde when they are being morons.

Mine was being a jerk last week. He was away this weekend and I couldn't wait for him to leave. Aside from the baby being a pill and sleep deprivation, I had a great weekend! He hasn't been home long enough to see if he's over his snit, yet.

Bidding on I Spy book set for the kids' Christmas. Last year they got the Where's Waldo set, which has not missed ONE church service (thank goodness for Waldo, we have quiet Sundays now) so I figure that I Spy is the logical next step.

We went to the old farm and did a lot of burning on Saturday. Well, after being subjected to the naughtiness that is my cousin's son for 3 hours at a bridal shower THEN I was good and ready to light htings on fire. She called my mom right before we left and asked if we were bringing my boys, to which my ever-honest mother repiled "Well at least one of them" then my aunt said "oh good we will bring him with too" and my mom immediately wished she were more inclined to fib. I don't know why they even bring him, my kids refuse to play with him because he's SO unruly and naughty, but they always say that if I'm bringing mine they will bring him.

The burning was a good time, the fire warning was dropped by the time we were ready to go and the wind was down to jsut a gentle breeze, enough to keep the smoke out of our faces. We were there for about 6 hours, my kids were pure filth by the time we left. It took dish soap in the bath to get them clean.

My darling husband (ahem) invited my mom and stepdad over for dinner yesterday without telling me. I had an hour to get my house from pit-of-filth to mom-approved. While I was running mad cleaning 8 rooms at once he decided to sit down and watch some football. I had to put downt he can of pledge before I asked him to take out the trash. Then, he goes "what were you gonna do with the stuff in the garage?" (they were going to do some wiring out there) and I said "Well Darling, just as soon as I get these dishes done, the floor mopped, and that darn load of your socks folded I would be glad to clean up that stuff in the garage for you!" He took the hint and did it himself. Loser.
