The students call them donuts. They are a bar thing. I guess they would be a little like an old fashioned donut, sorta.

I wish. It's the 10-month-old infant that got me up at 5:30am.

He actually got me up at 11, 12:30, 1:30, 3:20, 4:30 and was up for good at 5:30. He's lucky to be alive.

I have done that to my 3 older kids. One morning last year when I was pregnant, they made so much noise they got me up at 5:30 and I made them clean the entire house before school. I told them if they ever got me up before 7:30 again, they would be cleaning again. They never did.

Today I think I have to go to the doctor. The kitten was frightened by the dog Saturday night while I was holding her and she lit into my hands; the scratches aren't so bad but she bit my pointer finger on my right hand and now it's so swollen I can barely bend it. I can see exactly which fang mark is infected. It hurts, a lot.

Meanwhile the prednisone is apparently upsetting DS#1's stomach to the point where he stayed home from school today. Life is grand as usual.
