Poor sweet Fancy. She is just so confused by all this finagling. She ain't going anywhere. If you didn't take her I would be forced to keep her. I am actually halfway temped to keep her, breed her to dewey instead of puff this time, and see what she throws. But she has big ears and gave them to her other babies, so she really just needs to be retired lol.

The Tribble also needs a home. You should consider her as well. She is big and morbidly obese and cannot be bred. She is HILARIOUS.

Bows, I'm willing to bet the Marans might have mites also, but seeing as they are sturdy birds vs the weak Sussex, they'll be able to fight off fowl pox. Crossing my fingers at very least!

As hard as it is and miserable as it is, I'm seconding the vote to cull the Sussex now. Sigh. They are ADORABLE. I just can't deal with weak chickens.

If I was close, I'd come help out. I can cull sick birds without too much guilt. The meaties? No, I'm a baby about them. They are SWEET and they follow me around and *sniff, sniff*

Once they are gone, I can finish up, but I can't do the dirty work.

I have DH and children for that at least.
