Are you sure you didn't get one after your wreck? That is one of the first things they did to me in the ER.

I was rather surprised. They had asked me if I had one. I told them I don't remember much and J said I wasn't given any shots while he was there.

They checked in the computer record and nothing was recorded as me getting one.

That is strange, if you can't remember your last one, they will typically pop you with one. After a bad wreck it is possible you got it and the nurse forgot to document it. All things being equal they were probably worried about the major trauma. Dh says if you had the childhood series you are probably covered. Infection will be the issue now. Watch for pus, redness, swelling, red streaks running up your leg (the usual suspects). Bleeding at the time of injury is good.

When we were kids I gigged my brothers foot with a four inch nail (clean through). He survived.

We are off in about an hour to look at fainting goats.

Beware y'all. Petsmart is having a super sale this weekend. Lots of stuff 50% off. Bella is there being groomed and when I go to pick her up, I expect to buy half the store.

Dh now expects me to come outside in the 80+ weather and do some actual manual labor. Sigh. This calls for an adulkt beverage and a box of triscuits.
