Well, we keep chicks inside until 8 weeks for LF, 12 for the bantys. So the crows can't or won't bother them. Not sure what it is. But the crows HATE the hawks more than I do, so they scream bloody murder at them. The crows also hate the evil jays and beat the crap out of them, so they stay away. Thus, I spoil the crows to encourage them to hang out and stay here.

Non venomous snakes are removed from the chicken range if they get there and aren't eaten before we find them. I don't mind them.

Venomous snakes however. If I see one, they get a load of snake shot. But we have the wicked aggressive rattlers, not the ones who are more scared of you than you are of them. We apparently have timbers and copperheads apparently, but I never see them.

I wonder if a strwberry poptart would work for annoying coworkers?

It doesn't. Sigh.

We don't have venomous snakes here, but if we did, I do believe they would have to go.

Okay, I am about ready to *itchslap this woman on the other end of the phone. You did too sell me an '06 model furnace in '09! I have the freaking PROOF sitting right here in front of me!

love it!

LALALALALA!

Just helped out a SS who partially zipped and then fell asleep. Poor thing has been stuck for 2 days. There are 2 more unzippiing. One of Mahonri's and one of mine.

YAY for chickies.

I don't kill things at my house. I would kill the hawk if I had a gun and the time to sit and wait for it....only because it has stalked out my address and attacks even when I am standing out there....its a dang danger to ME. However I have neither a gun nor time so instead I sold all bantams other than my cochins, and penned them up. The big birds are on their own. They have successfully fought off all hawk attacks thus far.
