With me it was adoption weight. Really. Major stress+poor habits = well, me.

I know, it's insane. A lot of that was the admittedly very nice announcements with the picture included. Could have found some cheaper, but they weren't as nice. I don't think we overspent, it was insane a bit, but we got our moneys worth for what we spent. But 4,000??? Ugh. Some of the pictures I saw were just horrible. One monster who was so proud of spending that much on her baby, the kid is a very pretty young lady with very fair skin, light eyes, light blonde hair. Photographed on a white background in a white dress that was overlit. Poor kid just looks TERRIBLE. There is no contrast and it's so poorly lit, but the monster just found it LOVELY.

Okay, I have a ton of stuff to do today, I'm going to make myself a discussing vitamin green soup to start my better eating habit. And I'll give Emmy the Mounds I bought yesterday.
Hannah turns 6 tomorrow and I have to go locate a Unicorn, a Frankenstein (boy by request) doll and a Repunzel (a la Tangled) doll. And a gluten free cake recipe that doesn't suck.

ETA: It works both ways. Sometimes I see something really great that happened to a person and I think, well it's about time! And then sometimes I just snicker evilly.
