Yep, they were chewy, kind of like gummies, lol

I like bubble tea, the coffee shop in town has about a bazillion flavors.

I hadn't had it before. They offer it in a smoothie, milk tea or iced green tea.
I had the iced tea, blueberry flavor, pretty good.
large straw so the bubbles sip through.

Is tomorrow your first day?

Yes. Why can't I just win the lottery and not worry about this kind of crap?

So my lurker MIL is really upset today.

She's supposed to walk E to and from school, starting tomorrow. At some point she decided she was going to drive him---even though she's a scary driver, she has no control over her feet, and her hands shake uncontrollably. So Shane had to tell her she couldn't drive E to school. He didn't take away her keys, just told her she couldn't drive the kids.

I am not worried about E inside the car, but the 1000+ kids running around on the street and the angry parent drivers when school gets out/in. I don't think she could stop fast enough if a kid ran in front of her, or behind the car (which is what happend most often).

So MIL is mad. She took her computer and locked herself in her room. Totally understandable. But I have no doubt the next few weeks will be even more unpleasant than normal.

Oh my goodness! I just found out that Greenfire Farms imported Crested Cream Legbars from the UK. I've wanted Legbars for YEARS and now they're HERE in the US!

Unfortunately, they're insanely expensive. Greenfire is charging $99 for female day-old chicks and $29 for males, with a 6-chick minimum. DH would murder me. Hoping I can get some hatching eggs at reasonable prices.

Check out what my neighbor Tyge made me: It has a picture of my Patchwork on it.
