In other news, the turkey that was guarding the top shelf in the freezer waz extra yummy yesterday

I think I'll make some sweet potatoe fries tonight with some of the leftovers and then pack the rest back into the freezer for heat and eat meals for those disorganized days of little or no menu planning.

Mine are fine with Toxic Hell. And after about 12 or so, they can handle the neon slime. Just after 12, they think the neon slime is disgusting.

My neighbor's friends' son is the kid in this vid raising the Presidential Turkey this year!

I am sure most of you have heard that our son Valor is raising the Turkey for President Obama this year. He and three other FFA students were picked.
They have been working on this project for a few months but we were unable to say anything. They are in a secure location (even we don't know where it is).

We thought it would be fun to share now that we are allowed to.


Val was on Channel 4 (WCCO) Monday night. He will be on Channel 5 news on tonight also!

The turkey sound you hear at the end of the video is Val's voice - not a turkey! LOL

Nom, nom, I have chocolate candy!

Went shopping for halloween treats, got mini kit kat bars, reese's pieces and miniature cups, and some starbursts. Next trip I will hit wally world to see what they have. I tried one of those chocolate covered pumpkin peeps. OMG the sugar blast had my eyes rolled back into my head, good grief. There should be a warning on the package, do not imbibe and drive, it could be hazardous to your health. Luck for me I was at a red light.
