Pretty is as pretty does, especially when it comes to dessert. I don't care what it looks like as long as it tastes good; I have had some wedding cakes that were gorgeous to look at and tasted like cardboard. Give me homely delicious cupcakes any day.

My nephew's wedding cake was chewy like bubble gum....guess that was fondant?

Yeah, I was a slacker for food day today. Hardboiled eggs and devil's food cupcakes. I did at least get out the piping bag to frost the cupcakes, but that was because I was lazy and frosted them a little warm so the frosting didn't spread well.

But the eggs involved all came from chicken butts, just to warn you.
