Nope, nothing to do for leg. Try and build strength in it is all. In the past, he's had many surgeries on it already.
Some of the leg pain is probably coming from his back. His back is so messed up. The thoracic hasn't had MRI yet, that could also be scary. He always has stabbing knife pain in it and muscle spasms. He was in PT for awhile. Didn't help a whole lot. PT was a good guy, knows what he's doing and all, but, not much they can help with tears and narrowing and spurs and obliteration.
My DH has been too tough for his own good. I'd been after him for years to get to dr. Guess he wanted to prolong these results as long as possible.
Not sure what spine dr will say. Injections, possible surgery? Back surgery is always so scary, depends on what the possible outcome is before can make any decisions, oh, have to go to spine dr first. But gp has already said those were probably going to be the options.
Right now he is on SDI. Need to get the documentation and visits in first, but I think we may have enough now to start the other. You have to get a dr to prove that the disability will last more than a year. What he has now, could very well be one of the things on the list of impairments.
Tonight I have to call in and see if I actually go to jury duty on Monday. Not a good week, DH dr appointments, lundy conference.
Oh my, what's a girl to do.
