) sheaffer or somethin?

LOL! Schaeffer, Shiffer, Swafford, Sheaffer. All with the same first name. Thank God they have photos.

I know...the picture confused me cuz i was like, what the heck is she doing changing the spelling of her name and her avatar?? ha ha ha...yeah, I'm blonde...I'll admit it!

So let me retype this - stupid verizon mifi sux and keeps disconnecting.

I was on FB just now looking at a picture a friend posted of her ultrasound. The 3D ones are just amazing. I think Sparkles should have a baby just so she can get a 3D ultrasound.

I am NOT a Steff/Steffi - blech sounds like a ditzy cheerleader. The only two "ff"s are in my last name. Sorry I was so confusing.

Oh and I'm not a duck either regardless of what my FB avatar may lead you to believe

I'd get up and unload the dishwasher if I didn't have a mommy kitty sitting on my lap. She frightens me.

She growls all pissy if I touch her...but then comes and sits in my lap...go figure. She was the one I rescued and was rail thin, carrying kittens in her belly, and had a bald neck and a nasty wound. She was absolutely lovey dovey when I found her abandoned but now that she's had the kittens and has food, water, shelter....she's very onery.

I have baby kitten on me - am supposedto be doing some homework but the text is soooo boring. It is due tomorrow though so I'd better get crack - a lackin on it.

I've had a rough week with my chickens and ducks. My stupid dog got one chicken...now I've seen her chase them but I've always been there to stop her from getting carried away. This time the stupid dog got loose and I figured she'd come back eventually so I kept lookin out and calling for her and then she had my last black copper maran hen...so sad...no more dark brown eggs...so I baked a buttery yellow cake with cream cheese frosting with her eggs...last ones had to go for something special I thought. So then another day stupid dog gets out again...this time blame it on the girls and stupid dog pushing past them at the door and getting loose...or we could blame it on the dog...yeah, I guess that makes sense. So I see her and now she's got the mallard...dang it...she charges the fence and made the duck fly out...stupid duck...if he would have stayed in she wouldn't have been able to get him....so he's got some wounds but nothin that won't heal...so then about two days later, my oldest goes out to do her duck chores and finds the duck missing it's head and a wing tore off...now this is NOT my dog but most likely a coon...I figure it climbed over the fence and got him. Well, it happens...no ones perfect...now g hides from all of those sensitive bycer types that have fort knox chicken coops...

oh wait, I forgot about the other duck that froze her feet the night I was in the hospital...some how the ramp got knocked over and I didn't check on them that night and she was in the pool and when I found her the next day she couldn't hardley walk and was water logged...like water soaked through her bottom half. What the heck? I thought ducks were water proof? So I brought her in and blew her dry with hair dryer...kept her in cage for a few days...she's better but not a hundred percent...her legs are still a wee bit wonky. I was gonna send these pekin/roeuns to the farm auction soon anyway but man, what the heck. I better hurry before anything more happens. geesh.

It's Ok - I thought I had all my ducks locked up for the night last Friday but Tucker found one young one in the garden and "played" with it. It had a small wound on it's side and was skinned up. I put it in the basement for the night after I peroxided the scrapes. I was going to flush the wound better the next day after class. When I got up in the morning all it's intestines were hanging out it's side through the small wound

I tell you this stuff happens sometimes. I am very careful about making sure that Tucker is never around the chickens/ducks because I know he will play them to death. This one was a dark color and somehow got trapped in the garden area and I did not see him before I let the dogs out. I do a sweep of the yard.

So yeah stuff happens.
