Seriously? This is an email conversation:
1) John,
I was getting ready to order a washer and dryer for the laundry room and noticed that there is no gas or 220 for a dryer nor is there a vent. I then went and searched the drawings for a clothes line and could not find one of those either. Got any ideas on the plan to dry towels?
Answer: John W and I just finished talking about this issue. He will be issuing a directive to address this issue today.
While a clothesline may be an acceptable option, John W and I spoke about a somewhat more elegant option of providing of infrastructure (electricity, gas and exhaust). In order to facilitate purchase of the washer and dryer, John W and Michael B will coordinate locations of these items in the field.
Another answer: Ram,
To clarify - the Laundry Room C116 exists at the Fuel Building with the washer and dryer shown. The towels will be washed and dried there. A clothes rack should not be used. The washer is plumbed and there is power on the wall. I have forwarded Rons communication to RNL and HZ for clarification regarding the wattage. The washer and dryer are intended to be electric.
We will have a field directive to John H/Michael by EOB today.
Response from first person: To all,
The clothesline remark was facetious. I should have used the wringer washer comment instead but some of you might not know what that is.
