Here is what I sent the seller.
XXXXX-
Hey, the eggs you sent didnt make it. They were not individually wrapped, and the carton was too small for the turkey eggs. There was nothing preventing the eggs from bashing against each other during shipping.
Of the 12 eggs, I think 2 are intact--I candled them to make sure there werent any cracks, but I am not sure about the air cells.
I've shipped a ton of eggs, but never turkey eggs so I can't say I am an expert---still I would have expected them to be individually wrapped to protect them from each other.
I know you can't control how the post office treats the box, but you can take steps to prevent unnecessary damage.
How can we make this right?
---------OK admittedly it was a bit accusatory. but this was his response:
I SHIP THEM ALL THE TIME ,4 ORDERS THIS WEEK. YOURS IS THE ONLY ONE I HAVE HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH.
there is no way to make it right I have got eggs and be perfect and not any hatch ?X-rays ? but I have had no problems with shipping them .
