LH, does Cyn know that she'll need to ride with me to the swap? Beaner is having some issues that may delay or cancel her attendance. Which would be sad, really, when you think about it. But it might be for the best so we don't trigger a pockyclips with that much obnoxiousness in one place at one time.

Seven deer out wandering around the yard this morning. Five bucks and two does? (doe and yearling). Some of them were still shedding their winter coats. The bucks are growing their antlers. Haven't seen any fawns yet. The sun is out. It's a beautiful day.

Tragedy on the horizon. Its Bagel Wednesday (on Thursday because some slacker forgot) and I didn't wear my fat pants.

I haven't even eaten yet and my circulation in my lower extremities is dwindling.

Caramel had her babies last night!

She had 2 warm, fuzzy babies in the nestbox and one cold one on the wire. The one on the wire has every appearance of being dead, but I put him in the incubator to warm up first to be sure. I thought I'd lost a whole litter of 11 once, they were all cold to the touch and lifeless, but I held them in heated towels and they all lived, so I don't want to give up on this one until I'm sure, but it was awful cold last night.
