Right now, DH and DS18 are helping DS's friend who JUST turned 17 pack up and move to our place. 17 y/o is getting kicked out because he "only" got a 32 on his ACT as a junior. Yes, seriously. So if I'm in and out today more than usual for a Friday, it's because I'm working with a lawyer to get this mess set up legally.

Oh well, I'm broody and they are giving me a new chick to cluck over.

I will try to make a better day today than yesterday was. Bunch of work related crap came down in the afternoon. Crap that could affect my paycheck and definitely affects my mood.



Today the sun is thinking about shining. I saw some pretty birds out in the yard; Rose breasted grosbeak, American goldfinch, purple finch, Nuthatch, Red-winged blackbirds, Mourning doves, Indigo bunting, White throated sparrow, White crowned sparrow, Northen cardinal, Downey woodpecker, and more. Very pretty when the sun hit them and with a green background.

Yesterday I spent a significant amount of time killing flies and preventing them.

Today I poured my coffee, and before I even sat down, three flies drowned themselves in it.

Laree, sorry to hear about your dad, now I see how my prescription totally wasn't at CVS when I went to pick it up. Probably gave it to someones dad. Reminds me when I used to travel a lot overseas with the Air Force, we would check into billeting and every time they would have roomed me with one of the guys.
