pumpkins toerag?

Reminds me of the crossword puzzle my mom did yesterday she was tellin me.

The clue was camel. There were 3 spaces.

She thought to herself....what is another word for camel that is 3 letters? She said the first letter was T.

Well, I questioned it and said --- toe?

She told me not to say that since we were in a diner and she said the word was tan....so they were asking for the COLOR.

Well, geez, I don't think I'm the only one that thought the other.

Happy mother's day to all of you!

Happy Birthday to Lori!

Happy mother's day to me means nothing since my animals are lazy buggars who don't get me squat. Darn them all.

Spent today doing nothing so far. Will need to clean a coop later and decide who to move. Broody on eggs or broodies with babies. Hmmmm....

Saw those neat wooden chicken transport box things at the show this weekend. Didn't even think to take pics. I am going to build my own. Might run to Home Depot here in a bit.

Happy Birthday Lori!

Went to feed store today.
And you know what, DH was looking at the baby ducks. Oh how cute, that one's looking at me and wants me to take it home.
I think I want a duck.

HUH?!!! from dh?!!!!!
Well, you have to get two you know I said.

We did not come home with a duck, we'd have to get set up for them first.

I have not been the mother of a duck in years. 28 or so I'd say.

Oh! I saved a lizard today. It was stuck in the wire. Too fat to fit through. So I gently squeezed and maneuvered it around until he came out! Happy little lizard now. And he has a stripe around his body where he was stuck in the wire at. Poor thing, wonder how long he'd been there. Not too long cuz pretty fat!
Good thing a chicken hadn't seen him yet.

Easterish Babies. Some hatched a bit before, some a bit after, all brooded together.
