Yeah, DS18 got a full ride and a bunch of other minor things. Just means we have to send him to one of the coasts. Sigh. I know, we have NOTHING closer that's going to be good for what he wants to do. There is already a company drooling over the prospects to get him hired.

Of course, insane boy picks the COLD coast instead of the warmer options. Oh well, he'll enjoy school there better I think.

But do I HAVE to stop being a broody hen sitting on him really?

Stop laughing. I know I know, I'm Serama sized and DS is Jersey Giant sized. But he's NOT allowed to grow up on me yet....

Nah, she can actually sit in a chair. She just may need to prop her feet on her luggage. And hold the carriers of birds she's taking to LH....

DH has a plan using the wooden show boxes to hold the chickens, topped by a layer of supplies, then a layer of sell cages. Once we toss the teen and Cyn off on the side of the road we should have pleeeeeenty of room.

I'm not sure yet as far as time. I have horses and the precious to worry with. I may leave reeeeeeeeeeally early sat morning.

Ok, I am back.

I candled the icelandic eggs yesterday, and pulled all the yolkers/blood rings.

Then I decided to cook them up to feed to the chickens, but forgot to pull the blood ring ones.


My house stiiiiiiinks now.

I was going to candle my lively duck eggs last night but I couldnt find the duct tape to build my cheapskate egg candler with a maglite and a toilet paper tube.... *sigh* then I stepped on the duct tape while doing laundry this morning.

No pics, it didnt LOOK gross, but is sure as heck stinks. I also left the shells in the microwave too long, so tere is that burned smell too.

It kills any bacteria and dries them out so they are easier to crunch up into teeny bits for the chicken bowl.
