My pony was a bad boy again on Saturday.
Yep, I rode down the road, got off, and he jerked away from me. I hung on tight, only to get slammed to the ground.
Oh no, not again, chasing pony.
And the neighbor gave me a ride in their golf cart, there's my pony, I caught him, and he yanked me again, and drug me through the barbed wire, and got away, and ran all the way home.

Yea, my arm is hurt, I have barb wire scratches. why does pony do this?

Is it cuz it was dinner time and he wanted to go home?
just today I realized, hmm, it was after 4pm, is he that spoiled ?
Or for some reason is he getting spooked, I just dunno.

This time I agree with you. Yeppers, the male determines the sex of the baby.

I told my wife this and she didn't believe me.. And we had a boy, just like I said we would..

Females are XX.
Males are XY.

Human eggs are X.
Human sperm are either X or Y.

The male gametes or sperm cells in humans and other mammals are heterogametic and contain one of two types of sex chromosomes. They are either X or Y. The female gametes or eggs however, contain only the X sex chromosome and are homogametic. The sperm cell determines the sex of an individual in this case. If a sperm cell containing an X chromosome fertilizes an egg, the resulting zygote will be XX or female. If the sperm cell contains a Y chromosome, then the resulting zygote will be XY or male.

Good god, I fell asleep on he couch and woke up to 8 missed calls, 3 voicemails, text message out the wazoo, facebook messages, etc.

Apparently there was a tornado watch while I was sleeping. Well.....I didn't blow away apparently lol.

Darn that half a pitcher of margaritas. DARN THEM. As if falling over locking the chickens up and jabbing myself on the hardware cloth wasn't enough.

wow, Sounds like you had your hands full. Is this the same turkey with the boo boo on the beak? Did that ever heal?

Sounds kike you did a good job with the injuries. Treat for shock, get the vitamin and electrolyte solution going in the water and keep the bird isolated.

Resist the temptation to re-introduce to the other birds until completely healed or you will be starting over from scratch.

Now that he's stitched, I'd put one slathering of Neosporin or triple antibiotic and then let it dry.

Good luck.
