You are talented!!!! When we get a Nubian doe I am going to start making goat milk soaps. I am not talented. I don't have an artistic bone in my body.

Those soaps are fabulous!
I don't even have the first clue as how to make soap.

Ok those are glycerin soaps, milk soaps are a different beast. First to do a milk soap you need the milk slushy, otherwise it'll burn in the reaction and you'll have an utterly gross reeking mess (in fact, make them in the garage, the ammonia outgassing during the reaction isn't a good smell at all). You can do some really beautiful things with milk soaps, it's all in technique.

This for example look hard, but I can explain it in under 2 minutes....

Ah, another soaper. I love it. I have been playing around mixing glycerin with the CP. Most don't come out as I see them in my head but I'm getting closer. My best effort yet was this Red Rose and Thyme.

I was wondering what you were doing that was popular in Finland. You have an online store? I've never seen you on either of the byc soaping threads. What's up?

Just to say today is awesome. This is why I am normal, because I've got amazing and awesome friends. DH is the best.

Yes to online store (it's the website link). No to soaping threads, no real reason not to, just haven't.

That swirled one, I think I know what when amiss, what was your pouring temp?

Here, the stars are made first, allowed to age 48 hours, then added as imbeds into the cherry CP soap. Any sort of glycerin dew can screw up the adhesion, as can overheating, so don't insulate these.

Those are cute soaps! Just make plain here, the fun of an asthmatic kid who is set off with random scents.

I have some super sensitive clients, I do a scentless, natrual bar for them, but will use the fun molds so the kids don't feel left out.

Random thoughts today:

Lost a poult on Friday, gained 4 more today.

There were 4 (8-12 week?) old poults at the feed store, stuck in teeny cages. I couldn't tell the breeds of the two "heratige" poults, marked $14.99. (They sell the day-old heratige poults for $14.99). The other two poults were broad-breasted whites for $8.99 (they are also $8.99 at a day old). Long story short, I talked the manager down to $10, and got all four started poults for $38! There is AT LEAST 2 bags of feed already in these birds, so it was a swinging deal.

Poults are like used cars...they are taking up valuable lot space, but they eat and poop too. It is SO easy to bargain the people down on price

I also moved my 3-week-ol poults out to the Easter Chick pen. Since most of the Easter chicks are banties, they are now comparable size.... But the little poults were still freaked out, so when I went in there check up on them, this one wanted to be held. It sat and pooped on my shoulder for about a half hour.

It sat continuously, not pooped continuously. I am pretty sure it only pooped once.

Anywhoo, I'll have nip the snuggling in the bud. I don't think a 40-pound tom trying to roost on my shoulder is going to work, especially when he gets all hormonal and humpy.
