Lori, you know how you always torture yourself with the pix of the camelot horses going to kill?

Here is my girl january of 06 at auction yard waiting for kill truck. Aka the picture that made me buy a horse over the internet from 3 states aways.

It isn't really, unless you're OCD.

I watched a bird get polished and primped and fussed over for 2 hours. It was beaten by a bird that a guy tossed into the cage with nothing more than a butt/feet wipe.

LOL! I AM making too much of this. I guess I just want them to do well. It's fine to throw pics up here and say "look at my pretty birds" and folks ooh and aah. But to have someone "judge" them is another thing. It calls into question whether I am really seeing what I think I am seeing when I evaluate my own stock.

Breathe.
Take a deep breath in through your nose..... hold it..... now out through your mouth.....

Repeat the breathing exercise and chant to yourself "They're just chickens dammit. They're just chickens dammit."

OMG! You are trying to get banned aren't you! LOL!!!

Sarah you will be fine. If this place is ready for my weekend, I will go with you to Shelbyville and keep you from hyperventilating.

Yes. And...
The whole point of the initial experience; to learn. You will learn SO MUCH. And you will confirm where you have a good eye, and where you need to improve. And maybe find others with like-minded goals and discipline that you can bounce ideas off of.

Honestly? Anyone who breeds without showing is cheating themselves and others. How do you know unless you can compare yourself to the rest of the cream of the crop?

And I will be there too, and may have experience at holding n00b hands if Beaner does the show on the 7th of May.

Nella I torture myself over the Camelot horses weekly too. Hey could Foxy handle a 95 lbs kid on her back in the pasture...as a teacher to Cheyenne? No trots, gallops or anything like that but bnasic give her some confidence and walk her around the pasture?
