Sparkles!

Great pics of your birth mom and dad. I can see some similarities between you! Why exactly was your dad holding a gun?

Can I just tell you HOW irritated I am???!!!! The only thing holding us up from the new house is social security. My DH is a disabled veteran and has parkinsons we've been fighting for over 5 years for his VA disability and his social security. We finally have his VA disability but social security owes us back pay (60,000$). Its in the back pay department, been there almost two whole months. The lawyer has been paid, we do not owe back taxes, no liens on anything and we still dont have the money. I keep calling, the lawyer keeps calling and they keep telling us the same story, that its in the back pay department waiting for release. I called again today and the guy actually had the nerve to say "honey these things take time, you have to be patient."

as if 5 years isnt patient enough!

So you are sending the results of fertile eggs to their certain untimely death on my birthday??? Did I get that right?

No nonononono/... I am raising these chicks to be dissected by Midwestern University. Whatever hatches will be [laree makes slicing motion over her throat]

After I posted the first post, I even thought "Those should be two different posts...lest Buffy think I am likening her bday to imminent doom.

Hey Belle!

Thanks, it was SO much fun meeting them!

Um, he was letting my kids "see" his pistol... he carries it most of the time... there are a lot of bears in that area. I like to pretend he was using it to make us leave tho haha!

That would make two of us.

So you're really hatching birds just to be [slicing index finger across throat...] as baby chicks? That's what Nella beans would like to do to her co-workers, but at least they deserve it.

Kinda. I am provinding them with birds from different age groups (3-4 weeks apart) up to 8 months, as well las a few elderly hens (over 6 yrs). So this batch will be 4 weeks old on D-day, but I will set eggs once more so they have day-olds and in-utero dead chicks for their research.

.....basically, I am selling them all the roosters I have hatched since The New Year's Day Hatch. 35+ roosters, all going for science. And big $$, comparatively speaking.
