Finished getting primer onto the little tractor out back today. Tomorrow I will start the yellow paint and hopefully get to the white trim also. Then put wire back on and MOVE MR BUNNY OUTSIDE. What a messy buggar he is.

Frankie and Molly smell so bad. Why must dogs roll in chicken poop, and then run around the yard like maniacs? Craziness!

Lucky me, I get to go to the high school to talk to DD's teachers tomorrow. She is furious about it. I just feel a need to understand why I've heard about excellent test scores for the past 6 weeks when her grades ALL went doen a little or a lot. We have a rule here that 2 C's or a single D or F results in a parent/teacher conference. She knew this. Yet she still insists that she can bring her grades up if I give her a chance. Which is exactly what she said 6 weeks ago....

DH is freaking out because he has to go get $5-600 dollars worth of vehicle repairs after spending that amount last week on the other side of the van. Bearings are not his friends at the moment.

Sales dude is pissing me off but I circumvented him today with the general manager's tacit approval. He even smiled when I pointed out that meeting with a printer rep would take less time without our dude being there. But he had that look in his eye that said not to push things too far.

And then sales dude later made me help him find some perfectly obvious buttons on his e-mail system, like 'send' and 'address book'. I think it embarrassed him. But I'm sure I wasn't smug or condescending. I tried hard to not sigh with impatience because he stopped me on my way to the ladies room, though.

And I lost 2 chicks tonight. Lavenders. Is it an illness or is it genetic? There were a dozen babies in there, but ONLY the lavender d'Uccles were affected, not the millies or silkies.

The only thing that made me smile tonight was that Rapunzel adopted Sophie's chicks despite the fact that they're 10 days younger, and is doing very well wih her double brood. She's like the sun, with itty bitties under her keeping warm while the older 6 range around her like spastic satellites. And when they're all under her she has more heads than Cerberus. It's adorable.

...cuz they're dogs.

Are you sure you don't want a more menacing looking tractor like camo or black? You're actually painting your tractor a sunshiney color? Does that help calm you down? Or do you just feel sunshiney about the prospect of running over your coworkers into tiny bits with your big happy yellow tractor?

Lori!!! How could you not get pics of this???

1) Forgot the camera
2) Tired and cranky.
3) DH was making me a wreck as he compared the current state of DD with things her sister had done.
4) The babies wouldn't have been as cute due to the huge piles of broody poo.
5) By the time the broody poo was shoveled out it was time for Survivor.

The yellow and white paints were on clearance!

Today i also got a gallon of BRIGHT GREEN (like crayola GREEN) for $2.50! Porch and floor exterior paint and everything. I also have a beige for inside I got for $3.88. I am a bargain paint shopper. The gallon of exterior white was on clearance for $5. I think I got another gallon of something.....peach or something? I can't remember....

In all seriousness.......IT HAS A CAMO TARP ON IT. Yay rednecks!
