wellll i am in a chicken rut

moms been all crazy about the ammount of birds i have ( i had about dubal last year

) and she is wtichin at me to only keep a few this winter etc. Puting me in a hard spot. Cause if i can only keep a few chickens i want something i like, well i currently only have one pair of Bantam Salmon Faverolles that i like but the hens laying is crappy at best (think i got four eggs from a one year old pullet

) so i don't know what to do. There are no breeds that intrege me.... That makes it all the worse.

Speaking of, he got up this morning all cranky at me for messing with his ear all night. He said I kept tickling his ear with my fingers in my sleep and it kept him up all night. Ten minutes later I saw a tick in his ear, yeah, sucking the life out of him.
