Wow. The things you find out. (got kimchee?)

LOL

I lived in Ethiopia, Turkey, Germany and a whole lot of other places too. I'm an Army brat and then married a GI.

I understand waxing, but the first time I heard of a Brazillain wax, I didn't know what it meant, so I googled it. Oh mercy me, the results popped up with pictures!

I learned much more than I ever wanted to know about that subject.

Nope, never ever getting that done. Heck getting my eyebrows done is painful enough.

Speaking of being scarred by things.......last night I was watching that show called Extreme Couponing. It ended and was immediately followed by a show called strange sex, which began with a guy talking about his.......er.....13.5 inches of bargaining power. It happened so quickly I didn't even have time to grab the remote to check the guide.

ANYWAYS, the funny part is....imagine how many old boring prim and proper couponing housewives were scarred for life by thatransition. Made my night.

And us not so prim and proper housewives went "Yeah right, that means his bargaining power is really probably about the size of a golf pencil."

Are those any good? I don't usually buy food-in-a-box, but I'm trying to lose weight and was looking at Lean Cuisine meals. They always look good in the picture, but never look that great once they're sitting in front of you.

Actually, some of them are pretty good. Not a big fan of food from a box myself, but these are as close to prepackaged health food as you can get. My favorites are the chicken carbonara, sweet and sour chicken, cranberry apple chicken, potatoes and broccoli au gratin, and chicken with almonds. (I like chicken.) If you can find the pork with cherries it is AWESOME but they no longer sell it around here. Most of the beef ones seem like the beef is tough, to me. My DH likes all the Italian ones - spaghetti, lasagna, canneloni, etc.

The only thing is that most of them are so low-calorie that you need a yogurt or something to go with it or you will starve to death before your next meal. I had a whole-wheat bun with a drizzle of honey with mine today.
